Tyler Posey Says His Girlfriend Helped Him Realize He's "Queer" and "Sexually Fluid"

Tyler Posey Says His Girlfriend Helped Him Realize He's "Queer" and "Sexually Fluid"

  • Tyler Posey recently opened up about his sexuality and his romance with musician, Phem. "I'm in the best relationship that I've ever been in with a woman, and she's queer too," he said.

Tyler Posey is one step closer to being his most authentic self.

The Teen Wolf star recently opened up about his sexuality and how his girlfriend, musician Phem, has been his biggest supporter since they began dating in February.

“I’ve been with everybody under the sun,” Tyler said in an interview with British entertainment site NME on Thursday, July 1. “And right now I’m in the best relationship that I’ve ever been in with a woman, and she’s queer too.”

He added, “She’s helped me realize that I fit under the queer umbrella and that I’m sexually fluid, I guess…No, not ‘I guess.’ I don’t want anyone to take this [interview] and be, like ‘Well, he was kind of wishy-washy about it.'”

Back in October, Tyler shared that he was sexually fluid on OnlyFans—an online subscription-based platform where content creators can earn money from people. However, the MTV star explained that his personal announcement wasn’t well-received.

“Someone asked if I’d been with men [as well as women], and I said yes,” he recalled to NME. “Since then there’s been this really loud person online—I’m pretty sure it’s only one person—and they’re trying to call me a ‘gay-baiter’: pretending to be gay to get money, essentially.”

While Tyler said he’s no stranger to receiving negative messages, sometimes it goes a little too far. According to the Alone actor, some comments are “really cruel,” and have even been directed at his mother, who passed away in December 2014 after battling breast cancer.

As he described of one user, “And [the troll] made this one comment that kind of sparked me wanting to do something about cyberbullying. They said: ‘I killed your mother’—like, this person actually claimed they killed my mother.”

He added, “But I know that other people who deal with this kind of s–t may not be as strong mentally.”

This isn’t the first time the actor has been candid about his experience on OnlyFans.

Speaking on E! News’ The Rundown, Tyler revealed that being on the subscription-based platform isn’t always butterflies and rainbows.

“OnlyFans is bizarre. It’s really, sort of mentally draining,” he told E!’s Erin Lim. “You really feel like an object on OnlyFans. I’m trying my hardest to be artistic as possible with the content I put out ’cause I don’t want it to just be porn, you know? That’s not what I do and I don’t want to take it away from the people that are doing that. I just want to be artistic and stay in touch with my fans.”

When deciding to bare it all on the online platform, Tyler shared, “If I’m going to be somewhat nude, I want to not take myself seriously and be kind of funny.”

“I just can’t pose naked and take myself seriously,” he continued. “It’s weird, it feels stupid, I feel like an object. I’m still figuring out my footing in it and we’ll see where it goes.”

MLB Pitcher Tyler Skaggs' Family Files Wrongful Death Lawsuit Against Los Angeles Angels

MLB Pitcher Tyler Skaggs' Family Files Wrongful Death Lawsuit Against Los Angeles Angels

  • In a statement to E! News, the Los Angeles Angels said the lawsuits are “entirely without merit and the allegations are baseless and irresponsible.”

Tyler Skaggs‘ family has filed a wrong death lawsuit against the Los Angeles Angels nearly two years after the MLB pitcher was found dead in a hotel room.

According to court documents obtained by E! News on June 29, the parents and wife of Tyler filed lawsuits in Texas and California accusing two former high-level employees and the baseball team of gross negligence and wrongful death.

“The tragedy of Tyler’s death was made worse by the revelation that it could have been avoided,” the Skaggs family claimed in court documents. “The Angels failed Tyler. And because of this failure, Tyler, who was on the brink of achieving certain and substantial success as a pitcher in MLB, had his life cut short.”

In a statement to E! News, Angels spokesperson Marie Garvey said the “lawsuits are entirely without merit and the allegations are baseless and irresponsible.”

“In 2019, Angels Baseball hired a former federal prosecutor to conduct an independent investigation to comprehensively understand the circumstances that led to Tyler’s tragic death,” the statement read. “The investigation confirmed that the Organization did not know that Tyler was using opioids, nor was anyone in management aware or informed of any employee providing opioids to any player.”

The statement concluded, “The Angels Organization strongly disagrees with the claims made by the Skaggs family and we will vigorously defend these lawsuits in court.”

On July 1, 2019, Tyler was found dead in his Texas hotel room at the age of 27. A toxicology report released by the Tarrant County medical examiner’s office determined the Angels pitcher died after choking on his own vomit, which was caused by a lethal combination of opioids and alcohol.

Since his death, Tyler’s family established the Tyler Skaggs Foundation, which supports athletic programs and initiatives for children.

And back in October 2020, former Angels employee Eric Prescott King was indicted on two charges including distributing a controlled substance that resulted in Tyler’s death.

“[Eric] asks for everyone’s patience before forming judgment so that all sides can be heard and facts are brought to light in a straight-forward fashion and not skewed by innuendo or interpretation,” his attorney Michael Molfetta previously said in a statement to E! News adding that his client “is eager to respond and to have his opportunity to tell his side of the story.”

Eric is also listed as a defendant in the latest lawsuit filed by the Skaggs family. E! News has reached out to his attorney for comment and has not heard back.

According to the attorney representing Tyler’s family, the decision to file a lawsuit was not an easy one. “Nothing will ease the pain and heartache of losing their only child and, for Carli, her husband and soulmate,” Rusty Hardin said in a press release. “But they want to get to the bottom of the circumstances surrounding Tyler’s tragic, untimely and completely avoidable death, and to hold the individuals and entities–including the Angels–accountable for the actions that contributed to it.”

In an interview with Today‘s Craig Melvin, Tyler—who played Jennifer Aniston‘s coffee shop manager Gunther on Friendsshared that he was diagnosed with advanced prostate cancer in September 2018 after a routine physical.

“I was 56 years old at the time, and they screen for PSA, which is prostate-specific antigen,” he said on Today. “That came back at an extraordinarily high number…So I knew immediately when I went online and I saw the results of my blood test and blood work that there was obviously something quite wrong there. Nearly immediately, my doctor called me and said, ‘Hey, I need you to come in tomorrow because I suspect that you may have quite a serious problem with your prostate.'”

As he soon learned, the cancer had spread to his bones. “For my specific prognosis, it’s of course stage 4,” he told Melvin. “Late stage cancer. So eventually, you know, it’s gonna probably get me.”

“I missed going in for a test, which was not a good thing,” Tyler noted. “So the cancer decided to mutate at the time of the pandemic, and so it’s progressed.” According to Today, Tyler, who is undergoing chemotherapy, can no longer walk.

Tyler now wants to help others, urging men to ask for a PSA test at their next doctor’s appointment. “There are other options available to men if they catch it before me,” Tyler said on Today. “Next time you go in for just a basic exam or your yearly checkup, please ask your doctor for a PSA test. • Tyler Cameron says he's excited about the "new life" for The Bachelor franchise after Chris Harrison stepped down following a controversial interview about racism with Rachel Lindsay.
  • Watch: Tyler Cameron Says Chris Harrison Is at Peace With “Bachelor” Exit

Tyler Cameron is ready for some “new juice” in The Bachelor franchise.

The Bachelorette contestant, who vied for Hannah Brown‘s heart on the series in 2019, spoke to E! News about Chris Harrison‘s departure from the dating competition.

The host, who has been the face of The Bachelor since its debut in 2002, chose to exit the franchise earlier this year, following fallout from an interview with former Bachelorette lead Rachel Lindsay, in which he defended former contestant Rachael Kirkconnell after photos surfaced of her attending at an antebellum-themed college party. He later apologized for his comments, which he said “perpetuates racism.”

While Kaitlyn Bristowe and Tayshia Adams are currently performing hosting duties on The Bachelorette for Katie Thurston‘s season, a rotating slate of hosts, including David Spade, will sub in for the next season of Bachelor in Paradise

Tyler, who is working with Smirnoff to give away 2,021 dream trips and experiences as part of Smirnoff’s Red, White & Berry “Smirnoff Summer of 2,021 Dreams” promotion, explained his thoughts on the big changes coming to Bachelor Nation in an exclusive interview with E! News.

“I think Chris Harrison is at peace with it,” Tyler says. “I think they are all trying to do what’s best for each other and best for the direction of the franchise. And I think Chris is in a good place. I think the franchise is in a good place. I think the new guest hosts will be fun to watch.”

The model, who briefly dated supermodel Gigi Hadid following his time on The Bachelorette, adds, “I think it needs some life, it needs some new juice. David Spade, I’m excited to see him. He used to make fun of me.”

Fortunately, it’s all in good fun: Tyler even had a hilarious stint on the talk show Lights Out With David Spade as the Just Shoot Me actor’s “production assistant” in 2019.

“It’s just gonna change up the whole dynamics of it,” Tyler adds. “I think it needs some fresh faces and some new changes. We’ll see. I’m excited to see where it goes.”

As for who he would love to see on The Bachelor? His “celebrity crush,” Jennifer Aniston.

“I would like to see Jennifer Aniston go in there and see what the guys would do,” he explains. “The guys would ignore the girls all of the sudden, and just go talk to Jennifer Aniston. Does it become the Jennifer Aniston Bachelor episode?”

It would certainly keep the franchise fresh!

    Happy Mother’s Day indeed.

In mid-May, a few days after the holiday, Leonardo DiCaprio shelled out a cool $7.1 million for a more than 4,900-square-foot 1928 Spanish Colonial Los Angeles mansion that was previously owned by Modern Family star Jesse Tyler Ferguson and husband Justin Mikita, according to real estate records obtained by E! DiCaprio, who has owned many lavish homes over the years, paid more than $100,000 over the asking price for the house, which is located in Los Angeles’ upscale Los Feliz neighborhood. With annual property taxes exceeding $60,000, the mansion is renovated and the property is gated, according to its real estate listing.

Jesse Tyler Ferguson‘s latest post will encourage you to book a doctor’s appointment.

The Modern Family star recently opened up about his health on Instagram, in which he revealed his dermatologist found “a bit of skin cancer” during a routine check-up. Along with his message, the 45-year-old actor spread awareness on why it’s important to prioritize your well-being.

“Reminder to stay up to date on your dermatology checks… especially if you’re fair like me,” he began his post on Monday, June 7. “I always wind up getting something taken from me, every time I go. Today, they took a bit of skin cancer that they found.”

Despite the concerning news, Jesse reassured his followers that he’s still in good health, explaining, “Don’t worry, I got it early and I’m gonna be just fine.”

However, he noted that he’ll be a lot more diligent when it comes to wearing sunscreen. As he put it, “SPF 1000 for me!”

The ABC star’s followers showed their support in the comments section.

“Glad you’re ok! Yes please on SPF,” Selling Sunset star Davina Potratz replied. Zooey Deschanel echoed Davina’s sentiments, writing, “SPF one million!!! And hats- so many hats!”

“sending you love and thx for the reminder,” filmmaker Jake Wilson responded, with Jesse’s husband, Justin Mikita, adding, “Gotta keep you around forever. Derm appointments once a month!”

As fans of Jesse know, he has been about personal topics before. Just three months ago, the actor discussed how he’s raising his baby boy, Beckett Mercer Ferguson-Mikita, 11 months.

“It’s a lot of show tunes because that’s what I like. We’re raising him gay until he decides he’s straight,” Jesse quipped while appearing on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in March. “On the way back from the hospital, we played Britney Spears because that is what Justin demanded he listen to. That was his first exposure to music. It’s a lot of singing. I’m writing lots of songs for him. Everything has a song.”

“He’s going to be, like, such a straight kid. Who knows? I’ll let him do whatever he wants,” the Food Between Friends: A Cookbook author added. “But I just have a feeling you’re going to want to play football. I have to learn how to do all of those things.”

No matter who his son chooses to love, the actor has fully embraced fatherhood.

“He’s a really sweet boy,” Jesse raved. “It’s been a lot of fun and I’ve been wanting to become a dad for a long time and I was waiting for Justin’s timeline. He’s 10 years younger than me so I’m like, you let me know when you’re ready.”

Last July, the couple announced they took the next step in their relationship and welcomed their baby boy.
