Jersey Shore's Angelina Pivarnick Files for Divorce—But She May Not Be Done With Chris Larangeira

Jersey Shore's Angelina Pivarnick Files for Divorce—But She May Not Be Done With Chris Larangeira

  • After a televised wedding, Jersey Shore's Angelina Pivarnick put an end to her marriage earlier this year. Get the details on her breakup from Chris Larangeira.
  • Sparks aren’t exactly flying for one Jersey Shore couple this Fourth of July.

According to multiple reports, Angelina Pivarnick filed for divorce from husband Chris Larangeira after two years of marriage. The Middlesex County Family Court confirmed to InTouch on July 2 that the MTV star made the move all the way back in January. However, it is not yet known whether she ever served Chris with the papers.

Fans of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation have been able to get a firsthand look at the troubles surrounding Angelina and Chris’ marriage.

Despite an over-the-top televised wedding in November 2019, the pair started to grow apart during the coronavirus pandemic.

In the June 10 episode, Angelina revealed to Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino that her husband moved out of their home around the holidays.

“We got into a fight and he moved in with his mother and it’s been a few weeks now,” she shared with the cameras. “Chris leaving and taking down his stocking, ripping up his ‘Merry Christmas to my wife’ card. He wanted to see that card ripped up. He wanted to see that stocking gone. Chris wanted me to see all of his clothes gone. For him to do that to me over a fight is just not fair.”

According to Angelina, she asked her husband to go to couples therapy, but he ultimately declined. Another possible factor in the couple’s marital problems was their “nonexistent” sex life.

As Angelina explained in a previous episode, “It’s like, we’ll fight, and then whoever starts the fight won’t want to bang. So he don’t want to bang, I don’t want to bang—no one wants to bang. I’m not the most perfect wife ever. I yell at him, I’ll belittle him sometimes. I feel like we’re both wrong. But see how I’m admitting it to you? He won’t ever admit that he’s wrong.”

Ultimately, fans have speculated that there was trouble in paradise for many months after the couple unfollowed each other on social media and stopped posting photos together.

Back in May, however, the pair put on a united front while attending the MTV Movie & TV Awards: Unscripted together. Angelina also wished Chris a happy birthday on Instagram last month. Could this truly be the end for the reality stars? Stay tuned!

E! News has reached out to Angelina’s team and MTV for comment.

  • Chris Pratt shares he was "mortified" after realizing he had blacked out and confidently challenged this Marvel performer to an intense wrestling match.

Chris Pratt may want to put down his phone the next time he has an impulse to challenge a fellow Marvel star to a wrestling match—particularly one who knows a thing or two about what to do in the ring.

The 42-year-old star of The Tomorrow War visited The Late Late Show on Thursday, July 1, where he admitted to host James Corden he once took a sleeping pill and then confidently texted Guardians of the Galaxy co-star Dave Bautista to say he would beat him in a wrestling match. However, when Dave—who just happens to be a former WWE champion—asked him about the challenge the next day, Chris had absolutely no recollection of sending that text.

The story came up after Chris mentioned he spent hours wrestling his older brother in the family’s living room and was also on his school’s wrestling team. He then segued into his adult life.

“There was a moment in my life where I would take sleep aids to help me sleep, and I don’t anymore because of things like this,” the Jurassic World actor shared. “And I would text people, and I’m blackout, have no idea what I’m texting people, on like an Ambien.”

The performer explained that one day, Dave approached him on a film set and asked him about a text Chris had sent him the night before, which led Chris to frantically check his phone to find out what he had written while he was on Ambien.

Chris recalled, “It was like, ‘Dave, I want to wrestle you. I want to wrestle you—no one needs to know, but I just want to know. I think I could take you. I think I could wrestle you, bro. Like, collegiate rules—no elbows, no knees. I just want to feel the power.'”

The Parks and Recreation alum said he was “mortified” and admitted, “Dave would kill me.” Chris added, “He is by far the toughest dude in all of Hollywood.”

Indeed, Chris’ previous texting habits give new meaning to the phrase “sleeper hold.”

    A growing brood.

Chris Pratt is determined to add to his growing family after welcoming daughter Lyla with wife Katherine Schwarzenegger in August 2020.

“It’s really beautiful,” the Tomorrow War star gushed exclusively on E! News’ Daily Pop on July 1 about being a father of two. “I think having a second child really emphasizes what was unique about your first child because when you have one kid, you just take for granted all their growth and development. You just assume all children are that way.”

Pratt is also dad to son Jack with ex-wife Anna Faris

Now a #GirlDad, Pratt revealed how he’s grown as a parent over the years. “I react maybe a little differently,” he admitted. “I don’t roughhouse quite as much as I did. I kind of just want to cuddle both of them.”

But one thing about being a dad has stayed the same: “The high common denominator is just kind of this unquenchable desire to want to be close to them, be next to them, to protect them and love them. It’s the best,” Pratt gushed.

And yes, expect this star to have more kids on the way. “I would love to have more, as many as the man upstairs will provide,” he continued. “We’ll do it. I’ll probably have to talk to Katherine about that but my plan is, let’s go.”

Chris Crocker Weighs in on Britney Spears' Turmoil 13 Years After "Leave Britney Alone" Video

Chris Crocker Weighs in on Britney Spears' Turmoil 13 Years After "Leave Britney Alone" Video

  • More than 13 years after going viral with the "Leave Britney Alone" YouTube video, Chris Crocker spoke out about Britney Spears' conservatorship battle after she made her first public statement on it.
  • Chris Crocker once called on people to leave Britney Spears alone. Now, more than 13 years later, the influencer is happy the singer’s voice is finally being heard.

At a virtual hearing on Wednesday, June 23, the pop star read a lengthy statement by phone calling her 13-year-long court-approved conservatorship “abusive” and “stupid” and requesting that it come to an end without her being evaluated by a therapist. It marked Britney’s first public statement about the arrangement, which was first put in place in 2008, after she was hospitalized and received psychiatric treatment, and comes amid an ongoing court battle to remove her father Jamie Spears from his position as joint conservator of her financial and medical affairs.

In September 2007, months after Britney first showed signs of personal turmoil in public and after she was heavily criticized for what was expected to be a comeback performance at the MTV VMAs, a 19-year-old Chris tearfully defended the singer in what would later become one of the first viral YouTube videos. Following the star’s bombshell statement on Wednesday, the influencer, now 33, weighed in on her current situation.

“I don’t feel it’s my place to speak on it,” Chris said in a TikTok video. “I feel like today is about Britney being able to be heard and what she wants to say and her getting her freedom and her happiness back.”

The influencer continued, “It’s not about what I or anyone else has to say. It’s about Britney’s voice being heard and that’s what I’m so happy about, is she gets to be heard. No one has to speak for her and I think all we want is for Britney’s voice to be heard and for her to have her freedoms, because that’s what she deserves.”

At Wednesday’s hearing, Britney said, regarding her life under conservatorship, “I’ve been in shock. I am traumatized, you know, fake it till you make it, but now I’m telling you the truth, OK, I’m not happy. I can’t sleep. I’m so angry. It’s insane. And I’m depressed. I cry every day.”

She continued, “I just want my life back and it’s been 13 years and it’s enough. It’s been a long time since I’ve owned my money, and it’s my wish, my dream for all of this to end without being tested again. It makes no sense whatsoever for the state of California to sit back and literally watch me with their own two eyes make a living for so many people and take so many people, trucks and buses, on the road with me and be told I’m not good enough. But I’m great at what I do. And I do not need people to control what I do and it’s enough, it makes no sense at all.”

Also at Wednesday’s court hearing, Jamie’s attorney read a statement from him that said, “Mr. Spears is sorry to see his daughter suffering and in so much pain. Mr. Spears loves his daughter and misses her very much.”

Chris’ “Leave Britney Alone” video also became a topic of discussion after Britney made her statement, especially after audio from the phone call leaked online. “We all owe the LEAVE BRITNEY ALONE guy an apology; he was right and we were jerks,” one Twitter user wrote. Another responded, “Are you serious? Everyone loves @ChrisCrocker Also, it was satire. Weird that ppl don’t know that.” Chris replied, “No it wasn’t.”

“I made the ‘Live Britney Alone’ video because I felt like people should leave you alone,” Chris said on Instagram, “and I feel like now, hopefully the conservatorship ends and she can live her life the way she f–king wants to live it.”

Inside Chris Lane's "Unpredictable" First Weeks of Parenthood With Lauren Bushnell

Inside Chris Lane's "Unpredictable" First Weeks of Parenthood With Lauren Bushnell

  • In an exclusive interview with E! News, country singer Chris Lane shared a glimpse into his new reality as a father to baby Dutton. Find out his big, big plans for his son and wife Lauren Bushnell.
  • Watch: Newlyweds Lauren Bushnell & Chris Lane Reveal Wedding Secrets

Chris Lane has some “Big, Big Plans” for a very special year.

After the coronavirus pandemic put a halt on touring, the country singer is heading back on the road this fall for his “Fill Them Boots” tour with Tyler Rich. And though he continues to release new music including the personal track “Ain’t Even Met You Yet,” Chris is honed in on his greatest job at all.

Oh yes, Chris is officially a father after welcoming a baby boy with wife Lauren Lane (formerly Bushnell) earlier this month.

“It’s been a little exhausting, but it’s been the most incredible thing and we’re both so blessed and happy,” Chris shared in an exclusive interview with E! News. “It’s been so unpredictable. I’ve heard so many people say, ‘You just get ready. You better hold on tight’ and I expected to be exhausted and to not get nearly the amount of sleep that I’m used to, but I think that’s probably been the hardest part.”

While baby Dutton loves to sleep when the sun is shining, nighttime is a different story. But if you ask Chris, the 3 a.m. house parties are totally worth it.

“It’s been truly the biggest blessing to both of our lives,” he gushed. “Dutton is the sweetest little man and we are incredibly happy and just can’t wait to watch him grow up. I feel like we’re gonna blink and he’s going to be headed to college. We’re holding on tight over here.”

Since the June 8 arrival of their first child, Chris and Lauren have adjusted their date nights to be much simpler. When their son falls asleep in the evening, mom and dad eat dinner together and watch some TV.

And they continue to field well-wishes from family and fans, including professional PGA player Jessica Korda, who gifted baby Dutton an Augusta National onesie.

Mostly, though, they feel excited to be teeing off into this new journey and grateful for their faith for giving them the opportunity to be parents.

“Lauren and I are huge believers, we always have been and I will definitely instill that into our little Dutton over here that is for sure,” Chris reflected. “I really appreciate the fact that my parents did that for me and I know Lauren certainly appreciate her parents kind of passing that along to her so we’ll both do the same for him.”

Perhaps the cherry on top to Chris’ life today is the return of live music. This week, the country singer partnered up with Drinkworks for the launch of their PRESS. PLAY. SWEEPSTAKES.

“Fans will be able to enter to win a summer block party from Drinkworks and be able to catch up with friends and family over some good music and some good drinks,” he shared. “This is what summer is all about.”

And after raising a glass to a new season (in every sense of the word), Chris hopes fans will keep the party going at his tour this fall. “I feel like I have a great show planned from top to bottom with every artist that is part of it and I feel like my strongest point as an artist is putting on a live, high-energy fun show that kids to adults can enjoy,” he promised. “I can’t wait for them to see the show.”

Chris Brown allegedly struck a woman during an argument last week, multiple outlets reported.

Police were called to a Los Angeles home at 7:30 a.m. on Friday, June 18, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles Police Department told E! News.

Authorities were told the caller and the suspect argued, and “the suspect struck her,” according to the LAPD, which did not confirm the name of the suspect to E! News. But, according to TMZ, a law enforcement source identified the suspect as Brown.

However, the suspect was not there when police arrived to the residence on Citrus Ridge Drive.

Officers completed a report for battery (otherwise known as physical harm), and investigators have submitted the crime report to the Los Angeles City Attorney’s office for consideration, per the LAPD.

    No arrests have been made.

E! News has reached out to Brown’s attorney and rep for comment.

Though the rapper, 32, did not directly respond to allegations, he took to his Instagram Story just hours after news articles about the incident were published—and seemingly called them lies. “YALL SO DAMN [baseball cap],” he wrote with crying-laughing emojis.

Brown has a long history of trouble with the law, going back to 2009, when he was arrested for assaulting Rihanna, who was his girlfriend at the time, before the Grammy Awards. He was sentenced to five years of probation after pleading guilty to one count of assault.

Since then, he’s allegedly been involved in multiple incidents at night clubs, including in February 2012, June 2013 and April 2017.

More recently, a woman sued Brown after claiming she was sexually assaulted at his house during an after party in 2017. In 2020, the “Go Crazy” artist privately settled the lawsuit, E! News confirmed. The anonymous woman requested the case be dismissed in April of last year, with her lawyer describing her as “severely traumatized by what she was forced to suffer.” Brown’s attorney declined to comment on the settlement at the time.

Last month, Brown released the song “Come Through” with H.E.R. and, on June 22, debuted “Angles” with Wale

He shares daughter Royalty Brown, 7, with Nia Guzman and son Aeko Brown, 19 months, with Ammika Harris.

Why Chris Noth Was "Hesitant" to Join the Sex and the City Reboot

  • Sex and the City fans now know that Chris Noth is reprising the role of Mr. Big for And Just Like That…. But there was a time when he wasn't sure if he wanted to revisit the character.
  • Watch: Sarah Jessica Parker Shares FIRST Photo of “Sex and the City” Revival

Chris Noth is sharing a big revelation about his appearance in the Sex and the City reboot.

During an interview with Yahoo! Finance Live, the 66-year-old actor admitted he was initially “hesitant” to reprise his role as Mr. Big.

“It was a little bit of a sort of creative negotiation because I didn’t really feel I had anything to offer in that role again,” he said. “It kind of felt like I had done it. But [executive producer] Michael Patrick King is just an incredible writer and has incredible creative ideas. And once we got together and talked about the potential of what we could do with the character, I was all in.”

For months, Noth played coy about whether he’d revisit the character. But in May, HBO Max confirmed he’d be joining the cast of Sex and the City‘s “new chapter” And Just Like That….

He’s not the only one coming back, either. Sarah Jessica Parker (Carrie Bradshaw), Kristin Davis (Charlotte York), Cynthia Nixon (Miranda Hobbes), Mario Cantone (Anthony Marentino), David Eigenberg (Steve Brady), Willie Garson (Stanford Blatch) and Evan Handler (Harry Goldenblatt) are all set to return

There will be new stars, too. Sara Ramírez, for instance, is set to play Che Diaz, a non-binary, queer stand-up comedian who hosts a podcast that frequently features Carrie.

Noth played Mr. Big on both Sex and the City and in its related movies. And the Law & Order alum has a lot of fond memories from his time as Carrie’s on-again, off-again love interest. During an April interview on The Kelly Clarkson Show, for instance, he listed the episodes where Carrie farts in front of Big and where they fall into a lake in Central Park as some of his favorite scenes.

“There were so many great moments in the series of comedy,” he said. “It was just a blast to do it.”

During a recent appearance on E!’s Daily Pop, Chris opened up about being a father to Lyla and Jack.

“The greatest gift that I’ve seen so far, the second child really shows you the uniqueness of the first child,” Chris shared exclusively. “When you have one child, you just think, ‘Oh that’s what babies are like.’ And then a second child comes along, and they might do things differently from the get-go, and you say, ‘Oh wow, OK so that was actually unique what my first child had done.’ Each child is unique and special and they’re not just punched out of a mold.”

Katherine’s younger brother, Patrick Schwarzenegger, also joined in on the well wishes toward his brother-in-law. Patrick, 27, posted a photo next to Chris, brother Christopher Schwarzenegger and dad Arnold Schwarzenegger all dressed up.

Chris Pratt is both a father and a fighter—alien fighter, that is.

The Tomorrow War star revealed on the June 15 episode of E! News’ Daily Pop that wife Katherine Schwarzenegger has already given him the best Father’s Day present: life as a dad of two! The couple welcomed daughter Lyla in August 2020; Pratt also is parent to eight-year-old son Jack from his previous marriage to Anna Faris

“The greatest gift that I’ve seen so far, the second child really shows you the uniqueness of the first child,” Pratt told Daily Pop co-host Lilliana Vazquez.

Schwarzenegger may be a super mom but Pratt doesn’t count her as the most challenging opponent, if he had to choose between battling aliens, dinosaurs or his wife. “Dang, I have to say aliens just because there are so many of them,” the Jurassic World actor joked. “If there were several million dinosaurs or Katherine attacking the world, that would be more daunting. Katherine, I can take one on one because I know her weak spots because I’m married to her.”

But does Schwarzenegger make the cut for Pratt’s alien-fighting gang?

“I’m bringing Katherine because there’s a lot of instructions that you need to have,” Pratt added. “Katherine has the memory of an elephant.”
