Bachelorette's Hannah Brown Asks for "Prayers" After Suffering Neck Injury From a Fall

Hannah Brown took to social media on June 30 to ask fans for "prayers" and reveal she's unable "to do anything" following an injury to her neck.

Hannah Brown is definitely not in beast mode at the moment. 

The 26-year-old former lead of The Bachelorette posted an image to her Instagram Story on Wednesday, June 30 that shows her recuperating in bed after having apparently suffered a recent neck injury. In the photo, the erstwhile beauty pageant contestant is cradling a Monsters, Inc. plush toy. 

“Monday night I fell and hurt my neck,” Hannah wrote. “I’ve been super nauseous from the pain and not really able to do anything.”

The reality TV star added, “Send some prayers and healing energy my way.” She also included a face-with-cold-sweat emoji. 

Hannah has yet to share specifics about how she hurt herself, or whether she’s feeling any better than she was. A bit later in the day, she shared video footage to her Story of herself and boyfriend Adam Woolard enjoying a recent trip to Nashville. 

Back in February, the star opened up on Instagram about discomfort she endured amid pressure she had put on herself to look a certain way while competing in pageants.

I was so, so hungry,” she shared about her diet regimen at that time. “As soon as I stopped [dieting], after the pageant, I was literally starving… all the weight came back on and more. She added at the time, “I just messed my metabolism up so bad because it was always an extreme.”

Chris Brown Accused of Striking Woman at His Los Angeles Home

Police were reportedly called to Chris Brown's Los Angeles home last week, after a woman accused him of striking her during an argument. Per the LAPD, authorities completed a report for battery.

Chris Brown allegedly struck a woman during an argument last week, multiple outlets reported.

Police were called to a Los Angeles home at 7:30 a.m. on Friday, June 18, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles Police Department told E! News. 

Authorities were told the caller and the suspect argued, and “the suspect struck her,” according to the LAPD, which did not confirm the name of the suspect to E! News. But, according to TMZ, a law enforcement source identified the suspect as Brown.

However, the suspect was not there when police arrived to the residence on Citrus Ridge Drive.

Officers completed a report for battery (otherwise known as physical harm), and investigators have submitted the crime report to the Los Angeles City Attorney’s office for consideration, per the LAPD. 

No arrests have been made.

E! News has reached out to Brown’s attorney and rep for comment.

Though the rapper, 32, did not directly respond to allegations, he took to his Instagram Story just hours after news articles about the incident were published—and seemingly called them lies. “YALL SO DAMN [baseball cap],” he wrote with crying-laughing emojis.

Chris Brown’s Ups & Downs

Brown has a long history of trouble with the law, going back to 2009, when he was arrested for assaulting Rihanna, who was his girlfriend at the time, before the Grammy Awards. He was sentenced to five years of probation after pleading guilty to one count of assault. 

Since then, he’s allegedly been involved in multiple incidents at night clubs, including in February 2012, June 2013 and April 2017.

More recently, a woman sued Brown after claiming she was sexually assaulted at his house during an after party in 2017. In 2020, the “Go Crazy” artist privately settled the lawsuit, E! News confirmed. The anonymous woman requested the case be dismissed in April of last year, with her lawyer describing her as “severely traumatized by what she was forced to suffer.” Brown’s attorney declined to comment on the settlement at the time.

Last month, Brown released the song “Come Through” with H.E.R. and, on June 22, debuted “Angles” with Wale. 

He shares daughter Royalty Brown, 7, with Nia Guzman and son Aeko Brown, 19 months, with Ammika Harris.

On Thursday, June 17, Millie Bobby Brown, 17, was spotted walking and holding hands with Jake Bongiovi, Jon Bon Jovi‘s 19-year-old son. The teens were masked as they strolled together in New York City and took turns holding a tote bag containing the British actress’ dog Winnie.

Both dressed casually: Millie wore a long pink skirt, white shirt and strappy floral flats, while Jake sported a beach-themed tan button-down T-shirt paired with a white top, white, black and blue striped shorts and gray sneakers.

This marked the first time the teens have been photographed in public together since they first sparked romance rumors in early spring.

Millie started liking Jake’s Instagram posts in March, while he reciprocated the following month. In early June, he shared a selfie of the two sitting in a car, captioning the pic “BFF <3.” The British actress also commented “BFF” on his post, along with a unicorn emoji, while his uncle and Jon’s brother Matthew Bongiovi wrote, “Hey I want my $1 back!”
