Clare Crawley has something she wants to get off her chest.

The Bachelorette star says she plans on getting her breast implants removed for health reasons.

In a video posted on Saturday, July 3, Clare, 40, said that for the past couple of years, she has experienced unexplained symptoms, namely an itchy rash all over her upper body, and has undergone many tests. She also said that over the past five years, her white blood count has been elevated, and that recent mammograms and an ultrasound showed sacs of fluid behind her implants.

“As much as I love my implants, my body is fighting them and recognizes it as something obviously foreign in my body,” Claire said. “As much as I loved having these, this is so important to me that I love my health more. I love my well-being more. That’s what matters.”

According to the According to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, breast implants come with several risks, including possible rupture and an increased chance of developing anaplastic large cell lymphoma (BIA-ALCL), a type of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, or blood cancer.

In addition, the group notes that symptoms such as rash, fatigue, memory loss, joint pain and “brain fog” may be associated with breast implants and that research is currently being conducted to find a scientifically proven link.

In her video, Clare also talked about the support she has received over her decision to remove her implants from partner Dale Moss.

“I was talking to Dale the other day and he even said, ‘Your boobs are not what make you beautiful,'” she said. “And it’s the truth. For so long, I believed that that’s what it would take.”

Dale commented on Clare’s video, writing, “So proud of you for sharing this love. I know this wasn’t easy but will help so many other women going through what you’ve been experiening [sic]. I love you & with you every step of the way.”

The Bachelorette's Katie Thurston Discovers Secret Envelope During Her Date in New Clip

  • As seen in E! News' exclusive The Bachelorette promo for the upcoming episode, Katie Thurston opens a secret envelope in the middle of her one-on-one date.
  • Katie Thurston puts pressure on one of her suitors after opening a surprise envelope during the upcoming episode of The Bachelorette

As seen in E! News’ exclusive promo for the episode that airs on Monday, July 5, the Bachelorette goes on a one-on-one date with Andrew Spencer. Andrew has become a fan favorite after defending Katie’s ability to make her own decisions in light of the Thomas drama on the most recent episode.

In the clip, the standout from Matt James‘ season of The Bachelor surprises Andrew by plugging in a string of lights that reveal a number of secret envelopes hanging just out of reach from the tree branches. She then reads from a note informing the couple that each envelope “contains something that will bring you closer together.”

After getting a boost from the football player to grab the first message, she shares its message aloud. “Would you rather tell the truth and hurt your partner, or lie and not hurt your partner?” Katie asks while reading from the card.

Andrew instantly responds that he’d rather tell the truth, which leads Katie to put him in a situation that might cause him to doubt his decision. “Does this make me look fat?” she asks, and he follows up with, “No! Shut up!”

The athlete then tells the camera during a confessional, “Her personality is so infectious—her smile, her touch is driving me a little crazy right now.”

Bachelorette's Hannah Brown Asks for "Prayers" After Suffering Neck Injury From a Fall

  • Hannah Brown took to social media on June 30 to ask fans for "prayers" and reveal she's unable "to do anything" following an injury to her neck.
  • Watch: See Hannah Brown Rescue a Man From Rafting Incident

Hannah Brown is definitely not in beast mode at the moment.

The 26-year-old former lead of The Bachelorette posted an image to her Instagram Story on Wednesday, June 30 that shows her recuperating in bed after having apparently suffered a recent neck injury. In the photo, the erstwhile beauty pageant contestant is cradling a Monsters, Inc. plush toy.

“Monday night I fell and hurt my neck,” Hannah wrote. “I’ve been super nauseous from the pain and not really able to do anything.”

The reality TV star added, “Send some prayers and healing energy my way.” She also included a face-with-cold-sweat emoji.

Hannah has yet to share specifics about how she hurt herself, or whether she’s feeling any better than she was. A bit later in the day, she shared video footage to her Story of herself and boyfriend Adam Woolard enjoying a recent trip to Nashville.

Back in February, the star opened up on Instagram about discomfort she endured amid pressure she had put on herself to look a certain way while competing in pageants.

“I remembered I was hungry. I was so, so hungry,” she shared about her diet regimen at that time. “As soon as I stopped [dieting], after the pageant, I was literally starving… all the weight came back on and more. That was really hard for me… that started the constant yo-yo that I’ve had for so long.”

She added at the time, “I just messed my metabolism up so bad because it was always an extreme.”

The Bachelorette's Katie Thurston Shares She's a Sexual Assault Survivor

The Bachelorette's Katie Thurston Shares She's a Sexual Assault Survivor

  • During an emotional episode of The Bachelorette, Katie Thurston told the contestants on a group date that she's a survivor of sexual assault.
  • The Bachelorette star Katie Thurston opened up during the latest episode about being a survivor of sexual assault.

On Monday, June 21, during a tense group date that involved the contestants sharing moments from their past that they regret, Katie then proved she was similarly ready to be vulnerable by describing an incident of sexual trauma she experienced 10 years ago. In recalling the assault, she revealed she had yet to even tell her mom about it.

“I know you see me today as this very sex-positive woman who’s very confident, but she hasn’t always been here,” Katie said. “Ten years ago, it was New Year’s Eve, and I had been drinking. I was involved in a situation where there wasn’t consent, and that is not something I wish upon anybody. And I was in denial about what happened, so much so that I tried to form a relationship with him because I didn’t wanna believe what actually had happened.”

The 30-year-old reality TV star, who was famous for bringing a sex toy on Matt James‘ season of The Bachelor, went on to say that this experience led her to have a “very unhealthy relationship” with sex.

“I didn’t want to have sex, which affects the relationship,” she recalled. “I didn’t like talking about sex. And it’s taken me a long time to get to where I am now in being open and comfortable talking about it and loving myself and accepting things that I can no longer control. And I just want you guys to know that I’ve come a long way in who I was 10 years ago, and how important consent is, how important communication is.”

She also participated in an episode of the podcast Talking It Out that posted that evening, where she told Bachelor Nation’s Mike Johnson and Bryan Abasolo that she hadn’t initially intended to share this story with the group.

“As we all sat there and started to open up, it actually became this very intimate setting of being vulnerable and sharing these very deep stories that are personal to each of us in our own way,” Katie explained. “Going into it, I didn’t think I was going to ever share something like that.”

She continued, “But after hearing these men just really open up and cry…I just felt so comforted and supported in this safe circle, and I just had to let them know my story.”

The Bachelorette's Katie Thurston Responds to Thomas Admitting Goal of Becoming the Bachelor

The Bachelorette's Katie Thurston Responds to Thomas Admitting Goal of Becoming the Bachelor

  • After The Bachelorette contestant Thomas admitted he'd hoped to be chosen as the next Bachelor, Katie Thurston took to social media to offer her response.
  • Watch: Nick Viall’s Warning to “Bachelorette” Katie Thurston

There are certain things you don’t say out loud when you’re a contestant on The Bachelorette, as Thomas has presumably learned the hard way.

The dating show’s latest episode, which aired on Monday, June 21, ended with the guys banding together to get more information about Thomas’ motives, just as they had teamed up earlier in the proceedings to encourage Katie Thurston to not give a rose to previous villain Karl.

Karl ended up going home, and although Thomas was still in the running by the episode’s end, he might not have much time left, judging by Katie’s social media presence throughout the evening.

As the show had teased in promos for the episode, the final scene showed Hunter pushing Thomas to follow up on his earlier comments that led the guys to suspect he joined the show with the intention of becoming the Bachelor on a future season.

Ultimately, Hunter directly asked, “Was being the Bachelor—was that a prerogative for you?” This led the real estate agent to stunningly reply, “OK, I can’t be [disingenuous] to you guys, and I’m not gonna be. Yes, coming into this, one of the thoughts on my mind was potentially being the next Bachelor.”

We Did a Deep-Dive Into All of Katie Thurston’s Bachelorette Suitors

Given that he and Katie had shared a great connection and strong feelings up until this point, the Bachelorette was understandably surprised while watching Thomas share this on TV, and she made her feelings known on Twitter just after the scene aired on the East Coast. Katie had not been present during Thomas’ confession.

“He said what?!” she wrote, adding a GIF reflecting her disbelief.

Nick Viall, who also appeared on the episode and is himself no stranger to Bachelor Nation controversy, weighed in as well. He jokingly posted to social media that a clipboard he was holding was adorned with the words, “Thomas is lying.”

This followed a grueling group date that required the men to open up about a time from their past that brings them shame. It also featured Katie sharing about a nonconsensual sexual experience from her past.

Some of the guys, particularly Aaron, felt Thomas wasn’t being as honest as the others and was just using the opportunity to sell himself. Katie herself appeared to pick up on this, and later in the date, she asked Thomas to directly tell her about his own “red flags” that he had said existed, but he still refused to give details.

After this one-on-one moment didn’t end well, Thomas then interrupted Aaron’s time to sit down again with Katie. He told Aaron he believed his own time to be more valuable than Aaron’s, and also claimed he told Katie he was falling in love with her, although it later came out that this wasn’t actually what he expressed to Katie.

Katie appeared to be getting more clarity about Thomas as she watched the episode. Indeed, she retweeted a fan’s message during the episode that read, “thomas dodging questions as he says he’s not dodging questions,” and included a GIF of a man trying to escape capture.

When another fan tweeted during the episode, “But did he say he was falling in love with her ???,” Katie responded with a thinking-face emoji.

Whether Thomas gets Katie’s final rose remains to be seen, but he certainly doesn’t appear to have made many fans clamor to see him lead The Bachelor

Rachel Lindsay Says The Bachelorette's "Angry Black Female" Label "Still Follows" Her

Rachel Lindsay Says The Bachelorette's "Angry Black Female" Label "Still Follows" Her

  • On The View, Rachel Lindsay recalled the moment on The Bachelorette in which she was labeled "angry" because she decided to stand up for herself.
  • Watch: Would Rachel Lindsay Consider Being Next “Bachelor” Host?

Rachel Lindsay is shutting down the “angry Black female” label once again.

The former lead of The Bachelorette appeared on the June 4 episode of The View, in which she weighed in on the situation surrounding Real Housewives of New York‘s Eboni K. Williams. In an episode that aired earlier this week, Eboni, the first Black cast member on RHONY, accused Luann de Lesseps of labeling her an angry Black woman during an argument over a previous conversation about sex. Following the discussion, Eboni announced on Instagram that she would be taking a short break from social media.

Rachel said she relates to Eboni’s feelings about being called angry.

“In my season finale of The Bachelorette when I was sitting on stage with my runner up, my runner up told me that I was going to live a mediocre life if I didn’t choose him and my response to him was, ‘Actually I’m living my best life,'” Rachel said of her conversation with Peter Kraus. “When I came back from commercial break, the host [Chris Harrison] said to me, ‘Rachel, you seem angry.’ I looked and I said, ‘That’s a strong word.’ And he said, ‘Well, you seem upset.’ I hadn’t raised my voice, I hadn’t yelled, I hadn’t said any type of curse word.”

When he was asked for an explanation as to why he felt attacked by Rachel, Peter couldn’t offer one.

“I have been labeled an angry Black female in Bachelor Nation,” Rachel continued. “It follows me around to this day.”

The attorney added, “If in 2020 we’re supposed to be having these type of conversations, then we need to address micro-aggressions that are placed on Black women. We need to address these racial stereotypes. I think it’s important that we continue to do that.”

Rachel, who was the first Black lead of The Bachelorette, is one of the most outspoken alum in terms of fighting for equality and representation within the franchise. Earlier this year, she and Chris engaged in a conversation about a former contestant, Rachel Kirkconnell, who was called out on social media for attending an antebellum-themed party, which many believe glorifies the institution of slavery. While Chris defended Rachael, the former Bachelorette reminded Chris of what she may have represented had she gone to the event.

Following the conversation, Rachel spoke to Extra TV‘s Billy Bush about the controversy.

“In 2020, it was all about people realizing things that they hadn’t before. It was a level of awareness that was created that people hadn’t necessarily recognized,” she explained. “And out of that also came conversations that we should be having whether they’re tough, uncomfortable, whatever it may be. Isn’t that what this should be as well? It’s bigger than just The Bachelor, it’s bigger than just a reality TV show. There are a lot of issues that have come up because of this interview, and I think it’s important that we continue the conversation, we continue to move forward. And I think that’s the best thing that we can hope for out of all of this.”

The Bachelorette's Katie Thurston Is Ready to Talk About Sex, Baby

The Bachelorette's Katie Thurston Is Ready to Talk About Sex, Baby

  • In an exclusive interview with E! News, Katie Thurston says her season of The Bachelorette will feature never-before-had conversations on sex and a whole lot of heartbreak.
  • Things are getting sexy on The Bachelorette this season.

That shouldn’t be a surprise given the fact that its star, Katie Thurston, showed up on the last season of The Bachelor with a sparkly purple vibrator. This is a girl who is not afraid to talk about sex, and who is ready to continue to have “some conversations that haven’t happened before.”

“The biggest one and the most important one [is the conversation] around sex, whether they’re humorous conversations or important conversations,” she tells E! News in the video above. “Sex is a theme during the season and I’m excited for people to start feeling comfortable talking about it and starting those conversations.”

Sex is obviously not a new topic for the Bachelor franchise, especially in recent years, after Colton Underwood’s many discussions of virginity and Hannah Brown’s faith-themed saga. But no star has ever kicked off their time in the franchise with a sex toy before, and Katie’s also got the benefit of advice from mentor and former Bachelorette Kaitlyn Bristowe, who spent a fair amount of her season dealing with slut-shaming.

“[Kaitlyn] was there from start to finish to give me advice, and the one thing that her and I both agreed on is we are in 2021, so people are starting to be a little bit more open and a little more comfortable, but there are still people who view it as a crime, a stigma, a taboo,” Katie explains. “So I’m just kind of reinserting that back into the conversation and on the screens, and hoping people start those conversations.”

Katie says she isn’t afraid of letting her friends and family watch the season, partly because they’re more open than she is sometimes. But no matter what, she’s not letting anyone join her watch parties.

“I mean, single or engaged, I would be watching this alone,” she says. “I can’t watch it with my family or my friends, seeing myself make out with all these guys. I just need to be alone and embrace it and process it myself.”

    Katie Thurston, The BacheloretteABC/Craig Sjodin

Katie admits “without hesitation” that she falls in love with more than one person, and so we should all prepare ourselves to watch some hearts get broken.

We should also get ready to see Katie talk about her cat, Tommy. Katie describes herself as a crazy cat lady, which means that not only is she thrilled when a rogue cat makes a surprise appearance during our interview, she can also be easily won over by any man who embraces that side of her. You’ll see what we mean after the premiere!

In the meantime, hit play above to hear Katie weigh in on her season and to watch a cat try to get in on the action.

The Bachelorette airs Mondays at 8 p.m. on ABC.
