Jersey Shore's Angelina Pivarnick Files for Divorce—But She May Not Be Done With Chris Larangeira

After a televised wedding, Jersey Shore's Angelina Pivarnick put an end to her marriage earlier this year. Get the details on her breakup from Chris Larangeira.

Sparks aren’t exactly flying for one Jersey Shore couple this Fourth of July.

According to multiple reports, Angelina Pivarnick filed for divorce from husband Chris Larangeira after two years of marriage. The Middlesex County Family Court confirmed to InTouch on July 2 that the MTV star made the move all the way back in January. However, it is not yet known whether she ever served Chris with the papers.

Fans of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation have been able to get a firsthand look at the troubles surrounding Angelina and Chris’ marriage.

Despite an over-the-top televised wedding in November 2019, the pair started to grow apart during the coronavirus pandemic.

In the June 10 episode, Angelina revealed to Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino that her husband moved out of their home around the holidays.

“We got into a fight and he moved in with his mother and it’s been a few weeks now,” she shared with the cameras. “Chris leaving and taking down his stocking, ripping up his ‘Merry Christmas to my wife’ card. He wanted to see that card ripped up. He wanted to see that stocking gone. Chris wanted me to see all of his clothes gone. For him to do that to me over a fight is just not fair.”

According to Angelina, she asked her husband to go to couples therapy, but he ultimately declined. Another possible factor in the couple’s marital problems was their “nonexistent” sex life.

As Angelina explained in a previous episode, “It’s like, we’ll fight, and then whoever starts the fight won’t want to bang. So he don’t want to bang, I don’t want to bang—no one wants to bang. I’m not the most perfect wife ever. I yell at him, I’ll belittle him sometimes. I feel like we’re both wrong. But see how I’m admitting it to you? He won’t ever admit that he’s wrong.”

Ultimately, fans have speculated that there was trouble in paradise for many months after the couple unfollowed each other on social media and stopped posting photos together.

Back in May, however, the pair put on a united front while attending the MTV Movie & TV Awards: Unscripted together. Angelina also wished Chris a happy birthday on Instagram last month. Could this truly be the end for the reality stars? Stay tuned!

Ronnie Ortiz-Magro is all about gym, tan and lots of love.

According to a source, the Jersey Shore: Family Vacation star proposed to his girlfriend Saffire Matos on Saturday, June 19 at a Southern California beach where she said yes!

“[His daughter] Ariana, Ron’s mom and step-dad were there for the engagement at the Los Angeles beach on Saturday,” a source close to Ronnie revealed to E! News. “Ron has been working hard on his mental health and has finished his program at the health and wellness center that he was spending time at.”

The source added, “Saffire has been really supportive of his recovery and is looking forward to the next chapter of their journey.”

Ronnie hired Event Factory through Bucket List on May 26 to organize the proposal. “It was a surprise and he was very involved in the details!” Thais Campano of Event Factory exclusively shared with E! News. “He got the proposal package, which is romantic theme with boho style, red rose petals on the sand and the marry me letters…They had sushi from a private chef and non-alcoholic champagne. He hired a videographer to get the entire experience and he popped the question during the romantic photoshoot.”

2021 Celebrity Engagements

After a romantic evening by the water, the family continued the celebrations on Father’s Day at the Happiest Place on Earth. “Disneyland with my Princess,” the MTV reality star wrote on Instagram before park-hopping to Disney’s California Adventure with Saffire and Ariana, who he shares with ex Jen Harley.

The new relationship status comes after Ronnie and Saffire experienced their fair share of ups and downs in the public eye. Back in April, Ronnie was arrested on charges of intimate partner violence with injury. The incident occurred while he was on probation stemming from a separate domestic violence case involving his ex, Jen.

The reality star would later decide to get professional help for what his attorneys described as “psychological issues that he has ignored for a long time.” 

The Los Angeles City Attorney’s office later told E! News that it filed a probation violation against Ronnie in lieu of filing a new case against the reality star.

“We are very happy that after further investigation both the LA County District Attorney’s office and the LA City Attorney’s office determined that criminal charges were not warranted against Ronnie related to the incident that occurred in April,” his attorneys said in a previous statement. “As we previously stated, there was a rush to judgment by the media.”

Ronnie and Saffire, who runs a Staten Island lash bar, have been dating since last fall. It’s unclear if the couple’s romance will play out on Jersey Shore as Ronnie previously announced he would be stepping away from the show to “get healthy and be the best man and the best father I can for my daughter.”

Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola has spurred speculation that she’s single again. 

The 34-year-old Jersey Shore alum announced her engagement to Christian Biscardi in March 2019, and while the pair has not publicly confirmed a breakup, they have both recently unfollowed each other on Instagram.

Additionally, Christian, 31, appears to have deleted any sign of Sammi from his Instagram page. Sammi’s most recent Instagram post with him on her own account dates back to February 2020, although she included their Christmas card photo for her YouTube video entitled “Sammi’s Favorite Holiday Traditions” in December 2020. 

E! News has reached out to Sammi for comment and has not heard back. 

On March 5, 2019, Sammi posted a photo of Christian down on one knee to announce their engagement after the couple had been dating for two years.

“I’m completely overwhelmed with happiness,” she wrote in the caption at the time. “Yesterday was the best day of my life! I get to marry my other half, best friend and soulmate. [heart emoji] I look forward to spending the rest of my life with you @_biscardi I love you!!”

In March 2018, she took to Instagram to explain why she had opted not to participate in the TV spinoff Jersey Shore Family Vacation.

“I am not the same person as I was when I was 22,” she wrote back then. “At 31, I am currently extremely happy in every aspect of my life and want to avoid potentially TOXIC SITUATIONS.”

Ronnie, 35, was arrested on April 22, 2021 in Los Angeles on charges of intimate partner violence with injury. At that time, he was on probation stemming from a previous domestic violence case involving his ex-girlfriend, Jen Harley.
