Prince Harry will never stop honoring his mother’s legacy.

Ahead of what would have been Princess Diana‘s 60th birthday, her youngest son delivered a surprise video address to a group of young leaders receiving Diana Awards for their philanthropy.

“I want to thank you for being part of this important moment and for being such a valuable asset to your community,” he shared in a personal message. “I’m truly honored to be celebrating your work, your commitment to change making and the vital role you’ve taken on representing a new generation of humanitarianism.”

Prince Harry continued, “Later this week, my brother and I are recognizing what would have been our mum’s 60th birthday, and she would be so proud of you all for living an authentic life with purpose and with compassion for others. Our mum believed that young people have the power to change the world. She believed in your strength because she saw it day in and day out and in the faces of young people exactly like you, she witnessed a boundless enthusiasm and passion and I too see those same values shine through.”

Why Brett Young Deserves to Be Your Favorite Country Music Dad This Father's Day

Why Brett Young Deserves to Be Your Favorite Country Music Dad This Father's Day

  • In an exclusive interview with E! News, country singer Brett Young explained how fatherhood inspired his new music and upcoming children’s book.

In case you didn’t know, Brett Young is crazy about fatherhood.

As the proud dad to 19-month-old daughter Presley Elizabeth, the country singer has found himself falling in love with Disney movies and children’s books all over again. And with another baby girl on the way later this summer, Brett and his wife Taylor Mills Young have a lot to look forward to.

“My favorite thing about being a dad has actually been watching Presley experience the world,” Brett exclusively shared with E! News ahead of Father’s Day weekend. “I feel like I didn’t know how jaded I was becoming with everyday things whether it be nature or a bird flying by. The things you get used to or see so many times like, oh there’s a bird, but she’s like cracking up and chasing it across the sky.”

The musician added, “Seeing the world through a 1-year-old’s eyes and watching the joy they get from the things I didn’t even realize I was taking for granted.”

That joy and excitement for life can be heard in his new collection of music available now called Weekends Look a Little Different These Days.

The fresh tracks including “Lady” and “Not Yet” explore love, family, loss and everything in between. And with Brett serving as a co-writer on all eight songs, fans will be allowed to get a look inside his life today.

“If I wasn’t careful, fatherhood would have inspired all of them and we would have had a lullaby record,” Brett joked. “In terms of the song writing, it put me in a position where I had to actually stretch myself pretty far and not just write about what today was like or what I’m feeling right now. It made me realize that there was a huge audience of people who had fallen in love with the first record, specifically songs like ‘Mercy’ where it broke their heart.”

The Orange County, Calif., native continued, “I don’t want those people to stop being a fan because the new record is about blissful family life. It stretched me as a writer in a really good way, but it also allowed me to explore a completely new fan base of people and parents because I didn’t have those songs either.”

While the topics of his songs may be changing, one thing remains the same: Brett’s faith is still an influence on the tracks he makes. In fact, he wants music fans of all ages to feel comfortable singing along to his hits.

“I’ve never once seen the necessity for art to cross that PG line in order to be art. If you have something interesting to say, you can say it for everybody,” he explained. “You don’t need to say it to the NC-17 crowd and I’ve never understood why that was necessary. I don’t draw a hard line for myself about how I go enjoy stuff like that. However, I don’t want a 35-year-old woman to not feel comfortable bringing her 12-year-old daughter to the same concert.”

He continued, “They should be able to have a mother-daughter night and if I start having questionable content and lyrics in my music, all of a sudden, she’s not bringing her daughter and they can’t have that experience together and I feel like, if you’re a good enough writer, you can make it acceptable for everybody and I’ve always tried to walk that line.”

Speaking of concerts, Brett is just one of the many country artists looking forward to being back on the road this fall. Before launching The Weekends tour with Maddie & Tae, Ryan Hurd and Filmore, the 40-year-old Nashville resident will host a special Labor Day weekend music festival in Palm Springs, Calif., called Caliville Weekend.

While he is more than pumped to see fans in person again, Brett can’t help but admit it’s bittersweet knowing he will have a little less family time for a couple of months.

“I didn’t miss my daughter’s first steps. I didn’t miss her first words. There’s a very obvious silver lining to be at home for the past year and a half,” Brett shared.  I was very productive with my time. I made a record. I made a baby. I was home and I did it right, but I miss being on the road and I’m excited to get back out there.”

He’s also excited to turn one of the biggest hits of his career into a children’s book. Titled Love You, Little Lady, the kid-friendly project was a collaboration between Brett and his wife that resulted in a “cool legacy to leave to our kids.” Shop the book and items from Brett’s Caliville line below.

Brett’s debut children’s book shares the wonder of becoming a new parent and the passionate love dads and moms share for their children. “Our daughter was getting to the age where she wanted to read books all the time so it was a really fun process,” Brett shared with E! News. “I hope this is something we’re not only excited about for a long time, but something that can become more than just one book.”

    Caliville Button-Down Shirt

“The idea behind Caliville now is just the same thing I try to do with my songs: pulling back the curtain and exposing myself as a person to people who have invested in me as a person and my career,” Brett shared. “You go to the arena and see me on stage and you can go into Kohl’s and basically buy what I was wearing that night within reason.”

    Caliville Text Cap

Kohl’s became a really great partner and their goal is to understand who are you as a person and make a clothing line that represents that,” Brett explained.

While dads across the country will be celebrated this weekend, Brett couldn’t help but praise his wife for her skills as a parent. According to the “Sleep Without You” singer, Taylor deserves so much credit for handling parenthood with ease.

“The craziest thing was how natural she took to being a mom immediately: understanding what her child needed and understanding how to go about it, understanding how to manage her frustration and exhaustion and the grace that she had going about all of it,” he explained. “When they say, moms are superheroes, I feel like I got to watch that.”

And that‘s how to be a lady.

Kelly Osbourne Shares How She Was Introduced to Alcohol at a Young Age

Kelly Osbourne Shares How She Was Introduced to Alcohol at a Young Age

  • In an exclusive clip from Red Table Talk, Kelly Osbourne spoke about how moving to America from England brought up insecurities that led to her starting to drink problematically.

Kelly Osbourne appeared on Red Table Talk to talk about the moments of insecurity that led her to turn to alcohol.

In an exclusive clip shared exclusively with E! News on Wednesday, June 2, the former Fashion Police host explained to Jada Pinkett-Smith, Willow Smith and Adrienne Banfield-Norris what it was like growing up with her father, Black Sabbath star Ozzy Osbourne, who drank heavily. Additionally, Kelly, who is in recovery, recently relapsed after four years of sobriety.

“I was introduced to alcohol because I came from an alcoholic family,” she explained on the Facebook Watch talk show. “I grew up with my father being extremely, if not probably the heaviest drinker I’ve ever seen in my life.”

She continued, “The alcohol was there. I moved to America, and I was 13. I was so foreign. I couldn’t be more foreign. Very English. Most of the time people didn’t understand what I was saying. I didn’t really fit in anywhere, so I got really, really insecure.”

Kelly, who has spent time in rehab for substance abuse, opened up about relapsing in an Instagram Live this past April.

“This is a little hard for me to talk about, but I’ve always promised you that I will always be honest with you about where I’m at and what’s going on in my road to recovery,” she shared at the time. “I relapsed. Not proud of it, but I am back on track.”

Kelly explained that while she is “sober today” and plans to be “sober tomorrow,” this battle is “truly is just one day at a time.”

“I just wanted to tell you guys the truth ’cause I never, ever want to lie to you,” she concluded. “Thank you so much for your support and your love, and you’ll be hearing from me soon.”

Days after discussing her relapse, the reality TV personality shared that she suffered a “nervous breakdown.”

“I don’t know why my nervous breakdown happened at the end of the lockdown,” Kelly told Extra on April 27. “I made it all the way through, everything was great and my life was perfect. I’m that girl that when everything is going great, I need to f–k it up a little and make everything a little bit worse in my life. I am an addict and had thought that I had enough time under my belt, and I could drink like a normal person. And it turns out, I cannot, and I will never be normal. I don’t know why I even tried it. It’s not for me, and it took me a matter of days, and I was like, Done, not doing this.”

Moreover, Kelly explained why she wanted to be open and honest about her relapse with her fans.

“This is something I am going to battle for the rest of my life,” she shared. “It’s never going to be easy. Through being accountable and owning your own journey and sharing what you can, though, you can help other people. That’s why I came clean. I could have sat here, and nobody would know.”

A decade ago, Kelly—who, at the time, had gone on a fitness journey—spoke about how the media treated her when she was at a heavier weight, in comparison to how she was discussed during her drug addiction recovery

“I took more hell for being fat than I did for being an absolute raging drug addict,” she told Us Weekly in 2010. “I will never understand that.”

Watch the clip above. Kelly’s appearance on Red Table Talk premieres today at 12 p.m. EST/9 a.m. PST.

  • Patrick Renna, who played Ham Porter in the baseball movie The Sandlot, has an adorable nickname for his son, Flynn. Watch his tribute to the iconic movie below.
  • The real Ham Porter has another adorable Smalls in his life.

Patrick Renna, who portrayed the wisecracking backyard baseball player in the 1993 movie The Sandlot, took to Instagram on June 2 to share a video of himself and his young son, Flynn, who he nicknamed “Smalls” just like Tom Guiry‘s character in the film.

“So Smalls, a.k.a my 4-year-old son Flynn, got his first black eye playing baseball, and I knew exactly what to do,” he explained to the camera, before slapping a raw steak on his laughing son’s eye. “If you know, you know.”

As fans of The Sandlot will recall, steak is the ice pack of choice for Smalls’ parents after he gets hit with a baseball.

Fans of the movie were thrilled to see Patrick, who also appeared in shows like GLOW and Boston Legal, honoring his coming-of-age movie roots. “You’re killing me smalls,” one joked, referencing Patrick’s iconic line. Another added, “This totally made my day!!!” A third wrote, “The NOSTALGIA! Thank you for this! Literally made my day.”

Prior to the July reunion, Patrick told E! News, “It’s an opportunity to have some fun and also see if we can give back to people who need tons of help.”

Back in April, the actor also recreated a different moment from The Sandlot on Instagram. Set to Simple Plan‘s “I’m Just a Kid,” he stepped up to bat sporting a striped shirt and backwards cap.

And he may be rejoining his Sandlot family sooner than later: A TV sequel to The Sandlot was in development as of 2019.
