Milo Ventimiglia Won't Be the Only Gilmore Girls Alum on Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Season 4

Milo Ventimiglia Won't Be the Only Gilmore Girls Alum on Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Season 4

Kelly Bishop is bringing some Emily Gilmore energy to The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.

On Tuesday, June 29, it was revealed that the Gilmore Girls star has joined season four of the Amazon Prime Video hit. The critically-acclaimed show confirmed the casting news by sharing a sneak peek at Kelly’s character, who looks just fierce by the way. In a video shared on the Mrs. Maisel Instagram account, the 77-year-old actress is seen walking to set dressed in a fabulously stripped coat, teal gloves and maroon hat.

And it seems as though Kelly’s Mrs. Maisel character shares some traits with the Gilmore matriarch as she kept a steely stare for the entire video. “If looks could kill,” the caption read. “Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome Kelly Bishop to Season 4 of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel!”

This casting news comes less than a month after it was revealed that Milo Ventimiglia, who also starred on Gilmore Girls, had joined the cast.

While it’s unclear if Milo and Kelly will interact much during the new season, it does feel like a mini reunion for The WB dramedy, which Mrs. Maisel creator Amy Sherman-Palladino also created. However, this isn’t the first time that Amy and Kelly have reunited for a project.

We’re, of course, talking about the short-lived ABC Family—now Freeform—dramedy, Bunheads. The beloved one-season show, which was created by Amy and Lamar Damon, followed former showgirl Michelle (Sutton Foster) as she taught at a dance school belonging to her mother-in-law, Fanny (Kelly).

Prior seasons of Mrs. Maisel have featured plenty of Gilmore Girls alums. In fact, Mrs. Maisel star Alex Borstein appeared on Gilmore Girls as Drella, the Independence Inn’s harpist, and Miss Celine, Emily Gilmore’s go-to stylist. Oh, and we can’t forget to mention how Gilmore GirlsLiza Weil (a.k.a. Paris Gellar), Brian Tarantina (a.k.a. Bootsy) and Emily Bergl (a.k.a. Francie Jarvis) also made appearances on Mrs. Maisel.

As to what fans can expect from season four? We’re expecting lots of laughs and life lessons as season three ended on a low for Susie and Midge.

The first three seasons of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel are available to stream on Amazon Prime Video.

Good Girls Has Been Canceled at NBC and Its Stars Are Sad

Good Girls Has Been Canceled at NBC and Its Stars Are Sad

  • Good Girls is saying goodbye after four seasons on NBC, and Mae Whitman shared the perfect meme to express her feelings about the sudden cancellation.
  • First Debris, then Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist, then Manifest and now, Good Girls

NBC is not playing around with renewals and cancellations this year, and has canceled Good Girls—yet another beloved but low-rated drama with dedicated fans and a passionate cast—after four seasons. And this time, there’s not even any hope of a savior, as negotiations to move the show to somewhere like Netflix reportedly did not work out.

The show starred Christina Hendricks, Retta and Mae Whitman as a trio of moms and criminal (sometimes) masterminds, and Hendricks and Whitman have both expressed their sadness on social media. Whitman shared a meme of her eyes being covered by Hendricks in the face of the cancellation news, and Hendricks reshared the post.

“Well, we gave it our all. We really did,” she wrote in the caption. “Thank you to our amazing fans through the years for all your passion and support.”

Victoria Beckham and Daughter Harper Celebrate Pride With Spice Girls Shoutout

Victoria Beckham and Daughter Harper Celebrate Pride With Spice Girls Shoutout

  • Victoria Beckham had her children pose with her new Spice Girls-inspired Pride tee shirts.
  • Spice up your Pride.

On June 10, Victoria Beckham shared pics on Instagram of her family sporting a Spice Girls-inspired tee shirt for Pride Month. The shirts, which feature rainbow font, read, “Proud and wannabe your lover,” a nod to the pop group’s iconic 1996 hit “Wannabe.”

Victoria captioned the post, which featured a selfie of daughter Harper Beckham, 9, as the opening pic, “The Beckhams. PROUD AND WANNABE YOUR LOVER. Love you all #HarperSeven @cruzbeckham @romeobeckham @brooklynbeckham @davidbeckham. Link in bio to shop the T-shirt and pouch. 100% of the proceeds go to @aktcharity! x VB. #Pride2021.”

In addition to Harper, Victoria shared pics of her husband David Beckham sporting the shirt, as well as sons Brooklyn Beckham, 22, Romeo Beckham, 18, Cruz Beckham, 16.

The family got lots of love in the comments from followers, with one writing, “Aww I love this so much. We love your support.” Another added, “Absolutely love this I sooooo need one in my life.”

Others in the comments questioned whether the shirt means that Victoria would join the other Spice Girls on a future reunion tour. Last year, the group teased there may be another reunion tour in 2021. Victoria, who has built a fashion empire since stepping back from the band, declined to join them on tour in 2019

Fortunately, there was no bad blood, just girl power, between the Spice Girls at the time. Victoria said on social media in 2018, “I won’t be joining my girls on stage again but being in the Spice Girls was a hugely important part of my life and I wish them so much love and fun as they go back on tour next year.”

Mel C shared her reaction to Victoria’s decision, explaining on the Heart Breakfast show that same year, “We really support each other and the decisions that we make and we really support her and she’s really supporting us. And I think that’s a big part of our ethos.”

Whether she’s getting love from her family or from her bandmates, Victoria has a lot of support in her life—and clearly is thrilled to show it to others during Pride month.

Does Sean “Diddy” Combs have a new special lady in his life?

That’s what some fans speculated after the music icon was spotted on Instagram with rapper Yung Miami. The City Girls artist, whose real name is Caresha Brownlee and is one half of the hip hop duo alongside JT, a.k.a. Jatavia Shakara Johnson, raised eyebrows on June 3, after she posted a series of snaps on Instagram from the Atlanta birthday party for Quality Control’s CEO, Pierre “Pee” Thomas. At the celebration, Yung Miami and Diddy look super glam in formal wear—and also super cozy, as they are proudly hold hands while posing on a staircase.

Hours after Yung Miami shared the potential new couple alert, Diddy reposted the photo of the duo to his own Instagram—suggesting that there’s something he wants his followers to know.

The comments section was thrilled at the prospect of this potential romantic pairing. One follower wrote, “Are they coupleeee??? Wowwww,” along with a series of heart-eye emojis. Another added, “I hope this a thing cause it sure loook goood.” A third commented, “Diddy not playing! Damn she bad.”

Diddy, whose ex and mother of his children Kim Porter died unexpectedly in 2018, was in a long-term relationship with the singer Cassie. Following their 2018 split, he connected with Steve Harvey‘s stepdaughter Lori Harvey in 2019. However, their romance fizzled out after three months.
