How Gwen Stefani's Wedding Dresses Honored Blake Shelton and Her 3 Kids

How Gwen Stefani's Wedding Dresses Honored Blake Shelton and Her 3 Kids

  • Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton tied the knot in Oklahoma on July 3, and the bride gave a subtle nod to her new husband and her three sons with her custom Vera Wang wedding dresses.
  • Did you catch these cool details in Gwen Stefani‘s wedding dresses?

The No Doubt star wed Blake Shelton at the country singer’s ranch in Oklahoma on July 3 and celebrated their big day with not one but two gorgeous gowns. For the ceremony, which was officiated by their fellow star on The Voice Carson Daly, Stefani donned a custom Vera Wang Haute dress.

“She chose a custom lily white silk georgette and hand tumbled tulle high low gown,” Vera Wang shared on Instagram, “with a plunging neckline and a cut away back.”

The three-time Grammy winner swept her hair back into a chic and simple updo and donned a lily white chapel veil that included a special tribute to Shelton and her sons Kingston, 15, Zuma, 12, and Apollo, 7. The names of the groom, the bride and her children were hand embroidered into the veil and were flanked by two white roses at the hem.

After Stefani and Shelton said “I do,” she changed into her second Vera Wang dress, which also featured a nod to her kids and new husband.

“For the reception she chose a custom lily white Italian silk crepe and hand tumbled tulle strapless mini dress with hand pieced silk, crystal and sequin embroidered foliage delicately trickling from the waist down the skirt,” the designer wrote in a separate post. “The embroidery is highlighted by a pair of hand sewn love birds symbolizing the couple. They are joined by 3 baby love birds representing Gwen’s children.”

Stefani accessorized her look with white Le Silla boots and a veil featuring a bow and floral design. As she put it, “You need a party dress when u get to marry @blakeshelton.”

Stefani shares her three kids with her ex-husband Gavin Rossdale. In a February interview with KFROG’s The Ride With Kimo & Heather, Shelton spoke about his bond with her sons and his role as a stepdad.

“I take it very, very serious, you know?” he said. “But I also have a blast with it. I’m not gonna lie. I don’t take it so serious that I’m not enjoying this time because I really am. Especially, you know, now that we’re five years into this thing, I can’t imagine my life without these kids now.”

Gwen Stefani Marries Blake Shelton During Intimate Wedding Ceremony

Gwen Stefani Marries Blake Shelton During Intimate Wedding Ceremony

  • Less than a year after getting engaged, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are officially husband and wife. The couple said “I do” during a ceremony in Oklahoma on July 3.

From The Voice coaches to husband and wife!

Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are married, multiple outlets report. The couple, who got engaged in late 2020, wed in an intimate ceremony on the “Honey Bee” artist’s Oklahoma ranch while surrounded by loved ones on Saturday, July 3.

This news comes shortly after Stefani, who shares three kids with ex Gavin Rossdale, sparked marriage rumors for wearing what appeared to be a wedding band next to her engagement ring while out in Los Angeles with Shelton on June 12.

As fans may recall, Stefani, 51, and Shelton, 44, announced their engagement in October, with the “Cool” singer showing off her diamond sparkler on Instagram. “@blakeshelton yes please!” she captioned the photo, while the “God’s Country” artist wrote on his social media page, “Hey @gwenstefani thanks for saving my 2020… And the rest of my life.. I love you. I heard a YES!”

It’s been nearly six years since the “Happy Anywhere” singers first started dating after meeting on The Voice. At the time, Stefani was going through her split from husband Rossdale while Shelton was ending his marriage to Miranda Lambert

Indeed, it was heartbreak that first bonded the pair. After sharing news of his divorce, “I won’t forget that day,” Shelton told Billboard in 2016. “I looked over at Gwen—who I didn’t really know—and she had these huge tears in her eyes. I thought, ‘Wow, she feels super bad for me!'”

“That’s kind of how our friendship and bond started, that day,” he told the outlet. “It went from that, to checking in on each other once a week through email—’This shit happened to me, what happened to you?’—to maybe three times a week, then every day, to ‘Hey, here’s my phone number if you ever want to text.’ Next thing I know, I wake up and she’s all I care about, and I’m wondering if she feels the same about me.”

Needless to say, she most definitely feels the same way. “Blake is the greatest guy,” she told Stellar magazine in March. “I look back over the past few years and look at pictures of when I first started kissing Blake, and I look the best I’ve ever looked in my life in those photos.”

    Todd Williamson/E! Entertainment

Throughout the year, the duo have teased their upcoming wedding plans, with Shelton admitted he wasn’t helpful in the planning process—”she knows that it would be a pretty classless wedding if I was in control”—and Stefani getting a sweet escape at her bridal shower. As she joked on Instagram in early June, “I got kidnapped by my family to celebrate. I’m getting married!”

No doubt, this wedding was a night to remember.

Page Six was first to report the marriage news.

Here's What It's Really Like to Plan a Wedding During a Pandemic

Here's What It's Really Like to Plan a Wedding During a Pandemic

  • While weddings are coming back, many engaged couples still face cancelations and postponements. So, how do you plan a wedding during COVID-19? An E! News bride-to-be takes us through her journey.
  • Leanne Gutierrez, Foster Rubin, Love in LockdownInstagram @laurengutierrez

Love is not canceled. Or at least that’s what all the wedding blogs I read say.

As the coronavirus pandemic changed the way we shop, travel and savor disinfectant wipes, millions of brides-to-be were stopped in their tracks as they tried to make their way down the aisle. Weddings were postponed, turned into elopements and “micro-weddings” (an option gaining more popularity during COVID) or canceled altogether.

So despite being incredibly happy when I got engaged to my fiancé Foster Rubin in August 2020, I couldn’t help but think about when it would be safe enough to actually have our wedding. I wasn’t into the idea of a micromony. I did not want to compromise on the bigger wedding I had always envisioned since I was a little girl. For me, it was go big (our initial guest tally hovered just above 175) or stay at home.

A full-on roller coaster of emotions came immediately after I said “yes”. At that point, any kind of gathering was considered dangerous. How was I supposed to wrap my head around a big event, with half the people flying in from the other side of the country? My fiancé and I knew we’d have to wait out the pandemic to hold our dream event. But would it ever be safe enough to happen?

Having been fantasizing about my wedding day since roughly age 10, never once did I consider scanning contracts for force majeure and “Act of God” clauses, taking pains to hire vendors that wouldn’t go out of business in a year and a half (a very real concern!), not being able to hug all my friends and extended family once the proposal happened, etc. It was like being handed the keys to the castle, but discovering the moat was filled with crocodiles. And I thought the hardest part would be finding the guy!

Watch: “The Wedding Planner” Turns 20: E! News Rewind

Not knowing where to start, I turned to traditional resources like Mindy WeissWedding Book (my bridal bible!), but also Facebook COVID bride support groups—yes, they are real and helpful—@betchesbrides on Instagram and their awesome podcast, and other places on social media where thousands of newly engaged brides could find solace and laugh at this crazy, highly emotional journey.

I found spaces where brides would vent together about dance floors being banned, guest counts being cut (how do you politely uninvite someone to your wedding?), deposits being lost, etc. It felt nice to be part of a community where COVID brides turned to each other for advice, opinions and help in circumstances that seemed helpless.

With a squad in place, my fiancé and I started to visit venues, and it was clear that most wedding staff were struggling to roll with the punches during the pandemic. We visited several potential locations along the California coast until we found The One: The Hilton Santa Barbara Beachfront Resort. The oceanfront grounds took my breath away, but most importantly, their wedding point person Amanda Wolters explained how they’d work with us to postpone or cancel/refund us if COVID got in the way of our wedding.

That was my biggest fear while planning: That another round of COVID would strike and we’d lose our deposits if we couldn’t legally hold a big event, a situation many brides faced in the last year. The resort’s policy—a rarity among the venues we checked out—helped get our minds around the idea of putting down a deposit and trusting that we were in good hands.

One task down, fifty bajillion to go.

As COVID numbers started to decrease in Southern California and vaccinations began, event restrictions slowly lifted and the race to book wedding venues and vendors was on. Even though we were over a year and a half out, we lost our initial wedding date choices because other couples had already booked up the month of September! The wedding industry was definitely backlogged and we were competing with a bunch of 2020 brides and grooms.

Though choosing a date felt a little like a stab in the dark back then (how did we know when things would be safe again?), we ended up locking in August 19, 2022. And after we booked the venue, I tried blindly reaching out to vendors all by myself. It took me maybe a week to see that a seasoned wedding planner was necessary. Enter: Meg Herzer of Events by M&M.

As a COVID bride herself, she made me feel like I was in good hands from the second we first spoke. Scouring through her glowing reviews, I saw that she’d already combatted countless COVID wedding scenarios with grace, and that her brides were grateful to have her.

    photos
    Couples Married During COVID-19

Still, as we recruited our dream wedding line-up—photographer, videographer, welcome party venue—I had to become an amateur contracts attorney, scanning endless paperwork for that must-have clause that would allow us to reschedule their services or refund our deposit, should COVID force us to move our wedding. Luckily, we found awesome businesses like Lin & Jirsa and El Paseo Restaurant who would work with us in case something happened. All I can say is pick a team based on their ability to adapt to change. Check WeddingWire or The Knot reviews, and you can tell pretty quickly who will have a plan A, B, C and D!

    Leanne Gutierrez

With vaccinations now rapidly rolling out across the country, we are finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.

Brides and grooms are becoming more confident about pulling off a safe event, and many are requiring guests to get vaccinated or at least COVID-tested before the big day. The “wedding boom”, as The New York Times put it, is upon us, and judging by our friends and family, people will be ready to get out and party after the year we’ve had!

That all-important phrase “in sickness and in health” has never meant more to me than it does after this experience. Though planning my wedding is more challenging than I ever expected, my fiancé and I can finally start to relax now that the COVID numbers are going down and we can confidently envision our special day.

I am so lucky to have the most amazing future husband, family and friends that saw me through all the bridal freak-outs and scary moments of the last year. I’m not ashamed to admit there have been more than a few tears planning this thing, but if anything, it has made us even more excited to say “I do” and to celebrate with everyone we love…safely! Perhaps the wedding blogs are right: Love is not canceled.

  • Watch: Gwen Stefani & Blake Shelton’s Relationship Timeline

There’s no doubt about it. One of Hollywood’s most beloved couples is preparing to say “I do.”

Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani applied for their marriage license on June 29. According to official documents obtained by E! News, the license was requested in Johnston, Okla. While exact details about the couple’s upcoming wedding remain top secret, the marriage license is good for 10 days after being issued.

Is anyone else thinking a Fourth of July weekend wedding is in our future?

In recent weeks, both Blake and Gwen have dropped hints that wedding plans were underway. During a recent interview with USA Today, the country singer gave fans a glimpse into preparations.

“I want her to do all of that stuff and handle it because it’s going to be great,” Blake told the publication. “She’s in the middle of planning the thing, and she’s always so mindful…of me. She’s like, ‘Hey, I don’t want to just take this thing over.'”

The “Minimum Wage” singer added, “I think she’s having a blast doing it. I mean, I know she’s having a blast doing it.”

Back in October 2020, The Voice coaches confirmed on Instagram that they were engaged after nearly five years of dating. Since then, the couple has kept fans guessing as to when they will become husband and wife.

“I think that the guest list will not have a lot of musicians,” Gwen told Late Night host Seth Meyers. “It’s gonna be, like, my mom and my dad and just literally going to be just family, and we are looking forward to that.”

But what about other coaches from The Voice like Adam Levine?

“I definitely would love to have Adam sing at our wedding, but you know, the thing is, is that I feel like we’re not gonna have a wedding band,” Gwen shared. “I feel like we’re not. I feel like we’re just gonna go with a playlist.”

The lead singer of No Doubt added, “We’re keeping it very simple—really simple. We’re going to make it really fun, but it’s not going to be a big, like—you know, it’s not like the queen and king are getting married or something.”

Camyrn Clifford showed her Instagram followers that even though she lost her husband Landon at age 19 in August 2020, he still lives on through her memory.

The 20-year-old YouTuber took to her social media page to express her feelings on June 22 less than one year after his passing.

“Today would have been 6 years since we started dating and 2 years of marriage,” Camryn wrote in her caption. “Happy anniversary lover, I miss you so much.”

Camryn also shared a series of pictures of her and Landon before he died. The last picture in her Instagram gallery showed the couple in formal attire smiling at one another.

Following Landon’s death, Camryn shared a YouTube video on their channel called “My Husband Passed Away.” Their family YouTube account, Cam&Fam, has more than 1.6 million subscribers.

During the 36-minute video, Camryn revealed that Landon died by suicide. He was in a coma before being announced brain dead on August 18.

“He always put others above himself,” Camryn stated. “Even in death, he was caring about people.”

In the video, Camryn also spoke about Landon’s mindset around the time of his death.

“I know he was not thinking rationally,” she explained in the video. “He’s a very impulsive person. He always has been and he does things without thinking and I think he felt guilty about how everything has gone for the past year and I think he just felt like a burden and like we’d be better off without him, which is so far from the truth and I wish he would have known that. I am heartbroken. Collette is confused. There is no way that we’re better off without him.”

“If he knew everything that would follow after he did what he did, he wouldn’t have,” the star expressed.  “That’s why I am here to tell his story because there are so many people out there who need to hear about what comes after.”

Landon is survived by his two children with Camryn: Collette Briar Clifford, 3, and Delilah Rose Clifford, 13 months.

Kim Kardashian Granted Restraining Order Against Man Accused of Sending Her a Wedding Ring

  • In court documents obtained by E! News, Kim Kardashian detailed how her alleged stalker tried to show up at her home on multiple occasions.

Kim Kardashian has been granted a temporary restraining order after a man allegedly sent an engagement ring to her home.

According to court documents obtained by E! News, Kardashian’s attorney Shawn Holley filed a request for a restraining order on Wednesday, June 16 after an individual repeatedly attempted to gain access to the reality star.

In her declaration, Kardashian claims the man began stalking her on February 24, when he allegedly “wrongfully” entered the gated community where she resides with her four children. The documents state he was pulled over by a community security guard and questioned about why he was there, at which point he told the officer, “I’m here to see Kim, she is the love of my life.”

The documents read the individual was subsequently “cited for trespassing and taken to a medical center for a mental evaluation hold.”

Three months later, on Wednesday, May 26, the person allegedly tried to enter Kardashian’s gated community again, claiming he was there to pick her up for a dinner date, but was turned away by the security since they were aware he was on a “restricted list,” per the restraining order request.

Most recently, the court documents state the person allegedly sent a package containing an engagement ring and the emergency contraceptive pill Plan B to Kardashian’s home under an alias.

Kardashian further claims their social media accounts are “troubling,” as “they reflect [his] obsessive delusions and belief that he is in a relationship with me.”

Kendall Jenner 818 Tequila Party, Kim KardashianMEGA

“Through these posts, [he] falsely claims that he is in a relationship with me and even claims to be married to me. There is no basis to these delusions,” the court documents assert. “I have no relationship with [him] and have never met him or communicated with him.”

The skims mogul adds she’s “fearful” of the man, because she hired a security company, who told her a background check shows he has a criminal background. Kardashian explains, “I fear that without a restraining order in place, [he] will continue to attempt to gain access to my home and will harm me or members of my family if he is able to do so.”

Kardashian was granted a temporary restraining order, which will remain in place until the court hears Kardashian’s motion for a more permanent restraining order.

The 40-year-old star is the latest member of the Kardashian-Jenner family to seek a restraining order against an obsessive fan.

Kendall Jenner recently obtained a 5-year restraining order against Malik Bower, who was arrested in March for trespassing on her Los Angeles property.

Meanwhile, the Kim Kardashian West Beauty owner remains focused on her family, business and health. In a sneak preview of the Keeping Up With the Kardashians reunion, Kardashian stated she’s not sacrificing anything in her life for the sake of appearances, because as she said, “You can do whatever you want.”

And regarding her sexy poolside pics, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star shared she’s not stopping anytime soon. As she put it, “I’m 40 and I’m in the best shape of my life and I want to post a bikini studying [picture] if I want to.”

Gwen Stefani’s Diamond Band Sparks Blake Shelton Wedding Speculation

Gwen Stefani’s Diamond Band Sparks Blake Shelton Wedding Speculation

  • This s–t is bananas! Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton might have gotten married in secret, after she was spotted with a new diamond band on her ring finger over the weekend.
  • Are Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani already Mr. and Mrs.?

The “Rich Girl” icon is turning heads after she debuted what appears to be an extravagant wedding band on that finger, alongside her engagement ring from her Voice co-star.

On Saturday, June 12, Gwen was photographed with her new bling during an outing with Blake and her 7-year-old son, Apollo, in Santa Monica, Calif. The couple was matching in jeans, baggy navy shirts and baseball caps for their family time. Her trucker cap radiated positivity with a joyful “somewhere over the rainbow” graphic.

They reportedly just returned from his family ranch in Oklahoma, per Page Six. Notably, that’s also where Gwen, 51, and Blake, 44, got engaged last October.

Her new band appears to feature at least four diamonds, which pair perfectly with her massive square diamond engagement ring (that alone is estimated to humbly measure between six and eight carats).

Three days ago, wedding speculation was further fueled by Gwen’s not-so-cryptic Instagram post. She shared a pic of herself sipping a glass of wine and captioned it, “SHE’S GETTING MARRIIIEEEED.”

The snapshot was from her surprise bridal shower, as E! News reported last week. “I got kidnapped by my family to celebrate…I’m getting married!” she wrote on social media, adding that she was “feeling loved, feeling blessed” by her friends and family before she tied the knot.

At the time, Heidi Klum and Vanessa Bryant sent their love on Instagram, but Gwen hasn’t posted to the feed since.

About three weeks ago, Blake teased their wedding plans during an interview with USA Today, sharing, “I want her to do all of that stuff and handle it because it’s going to be great.”

He went on, “She’s in the middle of planning the thing, and she’s always so mindful … of me. She’s like, ‘Hey, I don’t want to just take this thing over.'”

The country star said his bride was “having a blast” planning their special day.

Though details haven’t been revealed about the big day (if it has, in fact, already happened), Blake told Jimmy Fallon last month that their first dance song would be “If You Leave” from the Pretty in Pink soundtrack. As he explained, “I swear, I have it right here. We talked about this, we both love the song, we’re both fans of the ’80s, why not?”

The eight-time Grammy nominee previously revealed he wanted to get married this summer.

Katilyn Bristowe couldn’t be readier to start a family with fiancé Jason Tartick

The 35-year-old former lead of The Bachelorette visited the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast on Tuesday, June 1, where she told Becca Kufrin and guest co-host Catherine Lowe that she could imagine herself walking down the aisle for two.

“I won’t be surprised if I’m pregnant for the wedding,” Kaitlyn admitted. “I don’t want to be, but that’s how anxious I am.”

Kaitlyn, who revealed the happy couple intends to get married in the summer of 2022, went on to say that seeing Catherine and husband Sean Lowe‘s social media posts of their three children has helped her decide she’d be open to having a bigger family than she initially thought.

“You’ve inspired me to go for three—because I was gonna be happy at one,” shared the co-host of Katie Thurston‘s upcoming Bachelorette season. “But I’m like, ‘I could do three.’ Catherine, you look glowing, rested, you’re podcasting.”

Kaitlyn added that if she’s not already pregnant by the time she and Jason go on their honeymoon, she’ll do everything she can to make it happen during the post-nuptials getaway. The pair, who started dating in early 2019, announced their engagement on May 11.

“I’m telling you, that honeymoon that we go on, I want it to be like the trip of a lifetime,” she said. “Because that’s when I’m gonna be like, ‘All right, let’s do this. Now I’m a mom.'”

Back in September 2020, Kaitlyn told E! News in an exclusive interview that the couple was ready to think babies as soon as she was done with Dancing With the Stars. She was crowned the champion of her season during its finale that aired two months later.

“I’m going into Dancing With the Stars being like, ‘OK, this is my last hurrah,’ because I’m ready to have babies,” she said in September. “I really want to feel like I’m in the best shape of my life, to feel strong and to go into a healthy pregnancy.”
