Taika Waititi weighed in on his feelings about the internet seeing pics of him, Rita Ora and Tessa Thompson a month after they circulated online.

The internet exploded in late May when Taika Waititi, Rita Ora and Tessa Thompson were seen cuddling and kissing each other.

When asked if the photos that spread upset him, Waititi casually told The Sydney Morning Herald, “Not really.”

“I think in the world of the internet, everything goes away pretty quick,” the Thor: Love and Thunder director said. “And also, ‘is it that big a deal?’ No, not really. I was doing nothing wrong. It’s fine.”

The New Zealand native and Ora have reportedly been moving quickly: The Sydney Morning Herald shared that the British singer had moved in with Waititi in Sydney while he was filming the Marvel Studios film. Thompson is also involved in the movie, along with Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman and Christian Bale.

Waititi became a huge name in Hollywood in 2019 when he wrote and directed the Oscar-winning film Jojo Rabbit. The 45-year-old filmmaker won the Best Adapted Screenplay Academy Award for his work.

Rita Ora’s Best Looks

Long before Waititi was spotted multiple times with the “Body on Me” singer, he married Chelsea Winstanley in 2011. The two separated in 2018 after seven years together. They have two daughters together: Te Hinekāhu, 9, and Matewa Kiritapu, 4.

The writer and director appeared on Ora’s Instagram on April 21. In the pic, Waititi, wearing a Gucci-print cap, shielded his face by looking down. He wrapped his arms around the singer, who looked straight into the camera.

“Good times, memories, random things on my phone and the ones I love,” she captioned the set of photos.

Tristan Thompson and Khloe Kardashian‘s recent split isn’t stopping him from expressing love and support online.

On Friday, June 25, five days after E! News confirmed the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star recently broke up with the Boston Celtics player amid rumors of him cheating, she posted several photos of herself with their 3-year-old daughter True Thompson on Instagram. Tristan, 30, liked the post and commented on it with two red heart emojis, prompting hundreds of disapproving responses from her fans. In addition, a day earlier, the NBA star liked a selfie Khloe posted that shows her crouching down in stiletto heels in a walk-in closet.

Tristan and Khloe, 36, have not commented on their split, which is not the first time the two have separated since they first started dating in 2016, and continue to follow each other on Instagram, as of Saturday, June 26.

In a just-released Keeping Up With the Kardashians bonus scene from the recently concluded final season, Khloe Kardashian seeks advice from sister Kim Kardashian about using a surrogate to have a second child with Tristan Thompson. Khloe is already mom to three-year-old daughter True Thompson, and while she and Tristan just split again amidst a cheating scandal earlier this week on June 21, Khloe is excited to expand her family with the NBA player prior to the shocking split.

The clip gives more insight into Khloe’s passion for having another child. But first Kim opens up about a number two of her own: one that clogged the toilet, no less. 

“Guys, I don’t know what to do,” Kim says with a laugh. “I went number two in that bathroom and it won’t flush. It’s really embarrassing. I was going to blame it on Kendall [Jenner], I should have done that.”

Khloe then starts a tough conversation about her inability to carry another baby and the stress of finding the right surrogate.

Kim honestly explains her experience with surrogacy for Chicago West. “The first time was so scary,” Kim reveals. “I did a FaceTime first and then I invited them over for dinner with their two kids and Kanye [West] and her husband. I wanted to meet them all face-to-face. I wanted to feel and see if this energy would was going to work for us. She was amazing and her husband was so great.”

Tristan Thompson Granted $50,000 in Libel Lawsuit Involving Paternity Accuser Kimberly Alexander

Tristan Thompson was granted more than $50,000 in a default judgment in a lawsuit against Kimberly Alexander, who said he fathered her 5-year-old son. He argued his paternity test came back negative.

Tristan Thompson has scored in the court of law. The basketball player, 30, won a conditional default judgment in a libel lawsuit against a woman that he said falsely claimed he fathered her son.

Kimberly Alexander was ordered to pay him $50,000 in general damages and $2,901.95 in costs, in a conditional default judgment issued on Tuesday, June 22.

Thompson filed his lawsuit against Alexander in May 2020, after she claimed he is the father of her 5-year-old son. (He is, in fact, dad to 4-year-old Prince Thompson with Jordan Craig and 3-year-old True Thompson with Khloe Kardashian).

“Plaintiff contends DNA test results revealed he is not the father,” according to the judgment obtained by E! News. 

He originally requested $100,000 in damages for “damages for loss of reputation, shame, mortification, and hurt feelings,” and Thompson testified that he had not received an endorsement deal since January 2020. However, the judge found there was “insufficient evidence” that Alexander’s accusations were the cause and granted him $50,000 instead, per the court document.

The judge’s ruling is conditional and relies on Tristan filing a dismissal of 10 additional, anonymous Doe defendants that he believed to be “responsible in some manner” for the damages.

Before suing Alexander, both Thompson and Kardashian sent a cease and desist letter in May 2020 to ask that she “immediately stop defaming them with malicious defamatory lies and specious fabrications.” The letter also said that Thompson took a paternity test that came back negative.

In response to the cease and desist letter, Alexander told E! News, “I feel like the whole issue originally stemmed from Tristan not wanting to choose a neutral setting for the DNA testing and using a Kardashian-associated DNA Testing facility. I feel as if you really have nothing to hide then why not just go to a neutral testing site. And we both know what happened and exactly what went on between us, that’s all I can say for now.”

The athlete’s lawyer alleged in last year’s lawsuit that Alexander is “wannabe social media influencer and pornographic model/performer who is so desperate to achieve her fifteen minutes of fame that she recently fabricated a false claim that NBA star/Cleveland Cavaliers center/power forward Thompson is the father of her nearly five year old son.” 

Thompson’s attorney Marty Singer said she has “persisted in publicly proclaiming” that Thompson is her child’s father and “she has maliciously accused Thompson of being a deadbeat dad, ‘neglecting’ and failing to take financial responsibility for the child since birth. Such statements are absolutely false and are defamatory per se.”

Kardashian stood by him during the paternity rumors. 

“Khloe obviously gets upset when rumors are spread about Tristan being unfaithful, but the dust has settled a bit and they are still together,” an insider close to her told E! News earlier this month. “Khloe is standing by Tristan.”

Yet, this week, multiple sources confirmed to E! News that Kardashian and the Boston Celtics star have split.

E! News has reached out to his attorney for comment on the libel suit.

In her first sighting since splitting from the basketball player, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star stepped out with 3-year-old daughter True Thompson on Monday, June 21. The mother-daughter duo were photographed in the Los Angeles, where Khloe was spotted without the large diamond ring that has been a wardrobe staple in recent months.

The Good American co-founder has sported the rock on her wedding finger since February, but it seems Khloe has put the accessory away for the time being. Instead, she complimented her all-black athleisure ensemble with a Prada fanny pack, oversized sunglasses and white Nikes.

Khloe’s outing with True coincided with the news that she and the Boston Celtics player had split up. On Monday, a source told E! News that Khloe broke up with Tristan “very recently.”

The insider explained, “Khloe is very levelheaded when it comes to True and the relationship True has with her dad, so she will undoubtedly make every effort to ensure that Tristan and True continue to have the same amounts of time that he’s always had with her.”

The two successfully co-parented True prior to their reconciliation last October, when Khloe decided to give him a second chance. According to a source, Tristan “bent over backwards to be with her” and Khloe gave in after he “apologized over and over.”

“Tristan is committed to doing things differently and not messing up,” the insider said at the time. “Khloe is hopeful about their future together and has seen a big change in him.”

However, news of their split comes hours after reports alleged that the 30-year-old athlete was spotted entering a bedroom with three women at Nessel “Chubbs” Beezer‘s party in Los Angeles’ Bel-Air area on Thursday, June 17. Per an eyewitness, the event was hosted by Drake and held at a mansion.

A source confirms that Tristan attended the party, telling E! News, “Tristan was hanging out with Drake, Diddy and Chris Brown the majority of the night. He was seen hanging out with several girls on the upstairs deck and then went into a private room with three girls. He seemed like he was in a great mood and wanted to party. He was drinking and was partying into the early hours of the morning.”

So what exactly led to the breakdown of Khloe and Tristan’s relationship this time around? A separate insider close to Khloe confirms she broke up with Tristan “very recently” over ongoing speculation surrounding his loyalty.

“They had been working through the cheating rumors for the last couple of weeks, but Khloe told Tristan he lost all of her trust and the relationship could not be repaired,” the insider shares. “Khloe really tried, but ultimately, felt too betrayed by him. She’s done and says she will not go back.”

The source continues, “They have been co-parenting and have seen each other several times in the last week with True, but are not romantically together.”

Earlier this month, a separate source told E! News that tensions were high between the couple after rumors “spread about Tristan being unfaithful.” However, the source explained that the 36-year-old star was still committed to making things work.

Moreover, in May, both Tristan and Khloe sent a cease and desist letter to model Kimberly Alexander after she alleged that he previously fathered her child. Before this made headlines, Tristan had taken a paternity test in January 2020, which concluded he was not the father of Kimberly’s son.

Additionally, Tristan’s legal team filed a complaint for libel against Kimberly. The case is still ongoing. Kimberly did not respond to E! News’ request for comment at the time.

Back in October, Khloe and Tristan decided to give their on-again, off-again relationship another shot. At the time, a source told E! News, “They are together and very happy. She’s very happy that he’s around and that things have been going as well as they have.”

But getting back together was no small feat, per the insider, especially after he was accused of cheating on the Good American co-founder in 2018 when she was pregnant with True, and then again a year later.

“Tristan has bent over backwards to be with her,” the source explained. “He has apologized over and over and swears he is forever changed. She resisted for a long time, but he’s slowly finding his way back in.”

Since rekindling their romance, the two seemed head over heels for each other and were on track to expand their family.

During the final KUWTK reunion episode on Sunday, June 20, Khloe opened up about her relationship with Tristan and regaining his trust.

“I know the growth and all the work that he’s done, I know all of the help that he’s gotten and the constant efforts that he makes every single day and how hard he fought to get back with me currently,” she said. “I mean, you can ask everyone, it really wasn’t an easy thing for him. Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson are putting up a united front as the NBA star continues to face rumors about his loyalty.

A source close to the Good American co-founder tells E! News the drama, which has played out on social media in recent weeks, has caused tension between the pair, but insists, “Khloe is not leaving him.”

“Khloe obviously gets upset when rumors are spread about Tristan being unfaithful, but the dust has settled a bit and they are still together,” the insider shares exclusively, adding that Khloe believes Tristan was “faithful” to her.

The couple, who share 3-year-old daughter True Thompson together, “are still very much a couple and Khloe is standing by Tristan,” the source adds. 

Moreover, the source explains the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star and Boston Celtics player are still focused on expanding their family so they can have a “sibling for True.”

“They are hoping to give True a baby brother, but ultimately want a healthy baby,” the insider shares.

But as the pair continue to plan their future together, they’re still reckoning with past allegations that Tristan fathered a child with Kimberly Alexander.

In January 2020, Tristan took a paternity test, which determined he was not the father of Kimberly’s son. According to a cease and desist letter sent by Khloe and Tristan in May, and obtained by E! News, Kimberly then requested a second test, and Tristan agreed to do so, so long as the test was performed by an AABB-accredited lab.

In a statement to E! News at the time, Kimberly claimed she didn’t trust the test results because the lab was “Kardashian associated.”

“I feel like the whole issue originally stemmed from Tristan not wanting to choose a neutral setting for the DNA testing and using a Kardashian associated DNA Testing facility,” she said. “I feel as if you really have nothing to hide then why not just go to a neutral testing site?”

Kimberly continued discussing her claims publicly on social media, which prompted the May 2020 cease and desist letter in which attorney Marty Singer wrote in part, “We demand that you immediately cease and desist from defaming my clients on social media (irrespective of whether or not the accounts are public or designated as ‘private’) and elsewhere. We also demand that you immediately take down any and all of your outrageous damaging posts about my clients.”

Singer went on to file a complaint for libel and demanded a jury trial against Kimberly on Tristan’s behalf on May 18, 2020. The case is still ongoing.

Since then, Kimberly has continued to allege Tristan is her son’s father. Most recently, she claimed Khloe direct messaged her on Instagram, sharing screengrabs of their alleged communications about Tristan on her platform. 

However, Kimberly later admitted she fabricated the photos, as outlined in a cease and desist letter sent to Kimberly by attorney Kym Goldman on Khloe’s behalf and obtained by E! News on June 2. The letter reads, “You put words in her mouth that she never said and that she wouldn’t say. You faked the whole thing. And you have now publicly admitted it.”

Goldman additionally questioned why Kimberly is “harassing” Khloe when her son “was not conceived during Khloe’s and Tristan’s relationship.”

“Khloé has no involvement in Mr. Thompson’s lawsuit,” Goldman warned in the cease and desist. “However, she may soon have a defamation lawsuit of her own against you if you fail to immediately cease and desist from defaming her and portraying her in an offensive false light.”

E! News reached out to Kimberly for comment but did not hear back.
