Paris Hilton Sends Love to Britney Spears After Shocking Testimony

Paris Hilton Sends Love to Britney Spears After Shocking Testimony

  • Following recent statements Britney Spears made during her conservatorship hearing, Paris Hilton sent support to the star while at the Resort World’s grand opening on June 24.

Paris Hilton is offering her support to Britney Spears amid the star’s continued conservatorship battle.

While appearing at the Resort World’s grand opening on June 24, the 40-year-old star—who infamously became friends with the superstar singer in the early 2000s—gave a shout-out to the #FreeBritney movement while on the mic at the DJ booth and sent Britney her love. “We love you, Britney,” her voice echoed on the mic in the clip. “Free Britney!”

To punctuate her message, Paris then played Britney’s hit, “Piece of Me,” which prompted the crowd in attendance to cheer. Although Paris is not seen on camera in the video, the House of Wax star ‘liked’ a series of tweets mentioning her show of support.

Also noted in the ‘like’ section of Paris’ Twitter account are a whole host of tweets in support of her longtime pal, who mentioned Paris during her recent testimony. During her remote appearance in front of a judge on June 23, Britney said that she never discussed the more oppressive details of her conservatorship because she “didn’t think anyone would believe” her. She referenced Paris’ recent accusations of being abused while at a boarding school in Utah as an example.

“To be honest with you, the Paris Hilton story, on what they did to her [at] that school,” Britney said. “I didn’t believe any of it. I’m sorry, I’m an outsider and I’ll just be honest, I didn’t believe it.”

“And maybe I’m wrong and that’s why I didn’t want to say any of this to anybody, to the public,” she continued. “Because I thought people would make fun of me, or laugh at me, and say, ‘She’s lying, she’s got everything, she’s Britney Spears.’ I’m not lying.”

The tweets Paris ‘liked’ seemed to confirm that she did not take Britney’s statements personally. Among the missives earning a double-tap from the OG reality star: “Britney never said @ParisHilton was lying, she meant that she couldn’t believe what had happened to her. And because she couldn’t believe something so awful happened to Paris, she was scared to tell everyone what was happening to her because nobody would believe her.”

The latest display of support from Paris mirrors what she had to say about the singer last fall while speaking with Andy Cohen on his SiriusXM show in September. “I love her so much,” she shared. “And I feel if you’re an adult, you should be able to live your life and not be controlled.”

Early ‘00s icons supporting each other? That’s hot.

Oprah Winfrey Sends 5YearOld Girl and Her Real Life Fairy Friend to Disneyland With a Little Pixie Dust

Oprah Winfrey Sends 5YearOld Girl and Her Real Life Fairy Friend to Disneyland With a Little Pixie Dust

  • Oprah Winfrey surprised 5-year-old Eliana Pauls and L.A. designer Kelly Kenney with a trip to Disneyland after learning about how the pen pals made each other feel "less lonely" during quarantine.

Once upon a time, Oprah Winfrey stepped into the role of fairy godmother for two unexpected friends.

Earlier this month, the media mogul sent a little girl and her magnanimous fairy friend to Disneyland after they proved “magic still exists even in the hardest of times,” in Oprah’s words.

Like all classic fairytales, this story began on Twitter. Los Angeles-based photographer Kelly Kenney penned a series of tweets in December to share the inspiring story of how she befriended Eliana Pauls, now 5.

In March 2020, Eliana created a fairy garden underneath a tree of their L.A. apartment building, because she “felt lonely in quarantine and wanted to spread some cheer,” according to Kelly.

The L.A. designer shared, “At the beginning of the pandemic I went through some painful personal stuff and would often go out at night for long walks because no one was around and I couldn’t sleep anyway.”

After she stumbled upon the painted rocks and other trinkets under the tree, she wrote a note to Eliana, pretending to be a fairy named Sapphire that lived in the foliage. Sapphire had a proposition: If Eliana did three acts of kindness, said nice things to five people and gave her an animal drawing, she would give her magical pink dice.

“I wasn’t sure if she’d respond or even find the note but it was fun just imagining what she’d think. The next night on my walk I found this and immediately burst into tears,” Kelly tweeted, posting pictures of Eliana’s enthusiastic response (written by her mom, Emily Pauls) and a drawing of two pigs. (Kelly also gave Eliana’s parents her name and phone number for safety reasons.)

And so, their pen pal relationship began, as the pair exchanged gifts and letters during the global coronavirus lockdown.

“Doing this every night gave me purpose in a horribly painful and lonely time. I looked forward to my days again and I started ordering art supplies and little trinkets to leave her,” Kelly reflected. “We wrote back and forth throughout the last 9 months, helping each other feel less lonely.”

Eliana’s mom told Kelly that Sapphire had been a great emotional support as well, so they tried to arrange for Sapphire to meet Eliana at long last.

“[I] made up a little story that when fairies move houses, they grow to the size of a human just for one day to move all of their belongings. I said I had one more gift for her and would leave it this afternoon and hoped [Winking face] she wouldn’t catch me,” Kelly explained. “As they came back from their last walk around their neighborhood I was by the tree leaving her gift and she got to catch me in the act.”

Kelly really got into character, wearing elf ears and a cloak for their meetup. She recalled, “We got to sit and talk for about an hour and she asked me a million questions about what life is like as a fairy.”

As meaningful as it must’ve been for Eliana, it was all the more special to Kelly, who called it one of the “most important and impactful afternoons of my life thus far.” She added, “I hope one day when she’s older she can understand that I truly needed her as much as she needed me these past few months.”

At the end of the thread, the fairy expert wrote, “We plan to keep in touch/write letters to each other from time to time. She’s changed me forever and the things her mom has said about how her self-confidence, her kindness towards others and her creativity have skyrocketed since meeting me make me feel like I made an impact too.”

Needless to say, the entire saga warmed the hearts of thousands of social media users, with more than 400,000 people liking the thread.

It caught the attention of Oprah, who tweeted, “What a selfless act,” noting that her letters showed Eliana that “magic still exists even in the hardest of times.”

“If you’re up for it, how about a magical trip to Disney with Eliana, her parents, & a friend when it’s safe again? On me. Think y’all need to meet Tinkerbell!” Oprah wrote last year.

Earlier this month, that dream became a reality when Kelly and her boyfriend Max spent the day at Disneyland with the Pauls family—parents Jeffrey and Emily, as well as daughters Eliana and Thea, per Oprah Daily.

They all wore matching T-shirts and, upon arrival, were given notes and gift cards from Oprah, which sparked an emotional reaction. “I lost it,” Emily Pauls told the outlet. “It was the culmination of this whole story.”

Kelly had already established an elaborate plan to explain how Sapphire could be human-sized for the trip. “I wrote a note saying I had a surprise for her and that we are going to get to go do something together, and that I was using Tinkerbell’s magic in order to be human-sized again for the day,” she told Oprah Daily. “I have to remember she’s five. She doesn’t really poke holes in Sapphire stories. She just loves her.”

During the fun-filled day, the group took rides on the King Arthur Carrousel and visited the new Star Wars park.

“What is a solace to me is that the most important, fun, and exciting thing about this are real,” Emily said. “Maybe we don’t have an actual fairy friend, but we have a friend, and there is an actual person who cares about [Eliana] and knows her.”

Kelly, who cries when she speaks about her friendship with Eliana, shared, “I give her most of the credit for the magic that was built between us.”

Obviously, they all lived happily ever after at the happiest place on Earth.

Carson Daly, who got to know Hoppus during his TRL days, sent the rocker his best.

“I’m thinking & praying for my friend @markhoppus from @blink182 who announced he’s fighting cancer,” Daly wrote on Instagram. “We may not speak everyday, but I hold in my heart such incredible memories of a time long ago, when we shared a stage & a mic doing what we both loved so much. I’ve always been such a fan. You’re one of the best people I’ve met in the business & know you will kick the shit out of this & be back rocking in no time. I’m here, we’re all here, right with you on this fight. Stay positive & you’ll beat this thing with the same ease that you Tom & Trav had when you ran naked around the MTV studios back in the day. Love you bro. You got this.”

A couple of weeks before sharing his cancer diagnosis, Hoppus celebrated the 20-year anniversary of Blink-182’s fourth album, Take Off Your Pants and Jacket.

    Blink-182Willie T

“Hell yes. 20 years ago Take Off Your Pants and Jacket came out,” he gushed in his caption. “After the overwhelming and unexpected success of Enema of the State we wanted to write a darker, harder album that pushed the boundaries of what blink-182 could do.”

He continued, “I love this record. Thank you to everyone who listened to it then continues to put it on two decades later.”

Hoppus proceeded to shout-out Barker, Tom Delonge and Jerry Finn, the other members of the band.

Khloe Kardashian Is "Standing By" Tristan Thompson as She Sends Cease and Desist to Paternity Accuser

Khloe Kardashian Is "Standing By" Tristan Thompson as She Sends Cease and Desist to Paternity Accuser

  • Khloe Kardashian has sent a cease and desist letter to a woman claiming Tristan Thompson fathered her child, as the reality star and basketball player are "still together," according to a source.
  • Watch: Khloe Kardashian & Tristan Thompson Go Alien Hunting!

Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson are putting up a united front as the NBA star continues to face rumors about his loyalty.

A source close to the Good American co-founder tells E! News the drama, which has played out on social media in recent weeks, has caused tension between the pair, but insists, “Khloe is not leaving him.”

“Khloe obviously gets upset when rumors are spread about Tristan being unfaithful, but the dust has settled a bit and they are still together,” the insider shares exclusively, adding that Khloe believes Tristan was “faithful” to her.

The couple, who share 3-year-old daughter True Thompson together, “are still very much a couple and Khloe is standing by Tristan,” the source adds.

Moreover, the source explains the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star and Boston Celtics player are still focused on expanding their family so they can have a “sibling for True.”

“They are hoping to give True a baby brother, but ultimately want a healthy baby,” the insider shares.

But as the pair continue to plan their future together, they’re still reckoning with past allegations that Tristan fathered a child with Kimberly Alexander.

In January 2020, Tristan took a paternity test, which determined he was not the father of Kimberly’s son. According to a cease and desist letter sent by Khloe and Tristan in May, and obtained by E! News, Kimberly then requested a second test, and Tristan agreed to do so, so long as the test was performed by an AABB-accredited lab.

    Khloe Kardashian, Tristan Thompson, KissSnapchat

In a statement to E! News at the time, Kimberly claimed she didn’t trust the test results because the lab was “Kardashian associated.”

“I feel like the whole issue originally stemmed from Tristan not wanting to choose a neutral setting for the DNA testing and using a Kardashian associated DNA Testing facility,” she said. “I feel as if you really have nothing to hide then why not just go to a neutral testing site?”

Kimberly continued discussing her claims publicly on social media, which prompted the May 2020 cease and desist letter in which attorney Marty Singer wrote in part, “We demand that you immediately cease and desist from defaming my clients on social media (irrespective of whether or not the accounts are public or designated as ‘private’) and elsewhere. We also demand that you immediately take down any and all of your outrageous damaging posts about my clients.”

Singer went on to file a complaint for libel and demanded a jury trial against Kimberly on Tristan’s behalf on May 18, 2020. The case is still ongoing.

Since then, Kimberly has continued to allege Tristan is her son’s father. Most recently, she claimed Khloe direct messaged her on Instagram, sharing screengrabs of their alleged communications about Tristan on her platform.

However, Kimberly later admitted she fabricated the photos, as outlined in a cease and desist letter sent to Kimberly by attorney Kym Goldman on Khloe’s behalf and obtained by E! News on June 2. The letter reads, “You put words in her mouth that she never said and that she wouldn’t say. You faked the whole thing. And you have now publicly admitted it.”

Goldman additionally questioned why Kimberly is “harassing” Khloe when her son “was not conceived during Khloe’s and Tristan’s relationship.”

    E!

“Khloé has no involvement in Mr. Thompson’s lawsuit,” Goldman warned in the cease and desist. “However, she may soon have a defamation lawsuit of her own against you if you fail to immediately cease and desist from defaming her and portraying her in an offensive false light.”

E! News reached out to Kimberly for comment but did not hear back.

    Congrats are in order!

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are overjoyed with the arrival of their baby girl, Lilibet “Lili” Diana Mountbatten-Windsor.

The couple shared the exciting news on their Archewell Foundation page, expressing, “On June 4, we were blessed with the arrival of our daughter, Lili. She is more than we could have ever imagined, and we remain grateful for the love and prayers we’ve felt from across the globe. Thank you for your continued kindness and support during this very special time for our family.”

Following the pair’s baby news, Buckingham Palace issued a statement congratulating Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s newborn daughter.

“The Queen, The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall, and The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have been informed and are delighted with the news of the birth of a daughter for The Duke and Duchess of Sussex,” a statement read on Sunday, June 6.

Prince William and Kate Middleton wrote on Instagram, “We are all delighted by the happy news of the arrival of baby Lili. Congratulations to Harry, Meghan and Archie.”

Additionally, Prince Charles and Camila issued a statement that read, “Congratulations to Harry, Meghan and Archie on the arrival of baby Lilibet Diana Confetti ball. Wishing them all well at this special time.”

Later in the day, Princess Eugenie, who welcomed her first baby in early February, shared a sweet message on Instagram Stories, writing, “Congratulations dear cousins. We couldn’t be happier for you all.”

The royal family’s heartfelt tribute comes almost two months after Prince Harry reunited with his loved ones at Prince Philip‘s funeral, who was laid to rest on April 17. It marked the first time the Duke of Sussex visited his family following his and Meghan’s tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey.

“This trip was to honor the life of his grandfather and support his grandmother and relatives,” a source close to Harry told Harper’s Bazaar at the time. “It was very much a family-focused period of time.”

The insider noted that “outstanding issues have not been addressed at any great length” with Prince Charles or Prince William, however, it “broke the ice for future conversations.”

As the source explained, “The family simply put their issues to one side to focus on what mattered.”

Meghan, who was pregnant at the time, couldn’t attend the service, as she was advised by her physician not to travel overseas

“Meghan wishes she could have flown to the U.K. to support her husband but has been advised not to due to her pregnancy,” a source close to the former Suits star previously told E! News. “She would have put all the family tension aside to be there with Harry.”

While it’s unknown where the couple currently stands with the royal family, it’s clear they are still paying their respects. Per a spokesperson for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, they gave their baby girl a name that honors both Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Harry’s late mother, Princess Diana.

“Lili is named after her great-grandmother, Her Majesty The Queen, whose family nickname is Lilibet,” a statement for the couple read. “Her middle name, Diana, was chosen to honor her beloved late grandmother, The Princess of Wales.”

“Both mother and child are healthy and well, and settling in at home,” the statement continued. “The Duke and Duchess thank you for your warm wishes and prayers as they enjoy this special time as a family.”

The arrival of the couple’s baby girl comes less than a month after their son, Archie Harrisonturned 2 years old in May. About their growing family, Prince Harry expressed his excitement during his and Meghan’s interview with Oprah in March.

“To have any child, any one or any two would have been amazing,” he shared. “But to have a boy and then a girl, you know, what more can you ask for? But now, you know, now we’ve got our family. We’ve got, you know, the four of us and our two dogs, and it’s great.”
