Channing Tatum Shares First Photo of Daughter Everly’s Face: "My World and My Heart"

  • Channing Tatum dedicated a heartwarming post to his 8-year-old daughter, Everly. See the father-daughter duo and what he had to say about his “world.”
  • Channing Tatum is letting his Instagram followers in on another part of his life.

The She’s the Man actor, 41, shared his first ever photo of daughter Everly Elizabeth Maiselle Tatum‘s face on his Instagram feed on June 24. His ex-wife, Jenna Dewan is Everly’s mother. Channing and Jenna got married in 2009 and divorced 10 years later.

“You my littles are everything,” Channing said about 8-year-old Everly in his caption. “You are my world and my heart. You were looking at the full moon in this pic and telling me the prophecy of the full moon mermaid and then we ran into the water and looked for her and played with glow sticks in the night water calling out to the mermaids.”

The Step Up actor continued, “You said you touched a bald headed mermaid and saw a tail. Haha one day you will read this and i hope laugh. We have fun.”

In the pic, Channing held onto his daughter as they stood on a beach. This rare glimpse into Channing’s fatherhood experience was welcomed by fans and colleagues alike. “The most special girl,” celeb hair stylist Jen Atkin wrote, while one commenter remarked, “She is so gorgeous!! Looks like her daddy.”

It’s clear though that the actor has a strong relationship with his child. Back in April, the 41-year-old dad showed off his makeup look, courtesy of his daughter.

“When you let your daughter do your make[up] blindfolded,” he said, while posing for a mirror selfie with pink, purple and blue hues all over his face.

At that time, he also announced the arrival of his book, The One and Only Sparkella.

“Guys, I don’t know about you but things got a little weird for me in quarantine,” he explained his look. “I ended up accidentally locking myself in my 7 year old daughter’s room. And I ended up finding my inner child.”

How Sinbad Almost Lost Out on A Different World Role

How Sinbad Almost Lost Out on A Different World Role

  • In this sneak peek from the June 24 episode of E!'s Reunion Road Trip, Sinbad reveals the origin story for his A Different World part.

How different would A Different World have been without Sinbad?

In this clip from the Thursday, June 24 episode of E!’s Reunion Road Trip, the 64-year-old comedian reveals to his former co-stars that he almost didn’t book A Different World. Looking fondly back at his time on the NBC sitcom, Sinbad, who played Coach Walter Oakes between 1987 and 1991, shares how he went from a stand-up comic to an on-camera personality.

“I gotta admit…I was scared,” he expresses. “Now y’all don’t understand, Different World was like, ooh!”

At this moment, Sinbad makes a big reveal: he first auditioned for the show as the warm-up comic. “This is what I never told y’all,” he continues. “I heard that they were looking for a comic to warm up the audience.”

Despite not knowing what the job entailed, the legendary comedian reveals he decided to go for it anyway. “I had never warmed up a studio audience,” he tells the Reunion Road Trip camera. “So, I was lying.”

In conversation with his castmates, Sinbad notes how he claimed to have worked as a warm-up comic for a series of shows. However, he was found out when he claimed to have worked on Magnum, P.I.

In response to this admission, Jasmine Guy comments, “Magnum, P.I. doesn’t have no warm-up. It’s a drama!”

Per Sinbad, that’s exactly what the casting agent said. “I’m doing well, and then I said I warmed up Magnum, P.I.,” he recalls in a confessional. “And that’s outdoors, no studio audience.”

Apparently, the executive was ready to fire Sinbad, who was on the verge of getting a job offer. So, what happened?

[Bill] Cosby said no,” Sinbad explains. “So, he said, ‘This man should be on TV.’ I said, ‘Well, you know, you could make that happen if you…'”

And the rest, as they say, was history! He concludes, “It’s rare you find actors who do comedy. I said, ‘They’re funny.’ I swear to God, I said, ‘Guys, sitting down watching Jasmine and Cree, it hurts.”

    Gotta love this!

E!’s newest reality series We Got Love Teyana & Iman premieres Thursday, September 2 (but you can watch a sneak peek preview tonight at 10 p.m.!) and follows power couple Teyana Taylor and Iman Shumpert as they balance romance, business and raising two daughters, Rue and Junie. Teyana, a multi-hyphenate star, is a model-musician-director-actress who also was named Maxim‘s “Sexiest Woman Alive” in 2021. Seems like she really can do it all!

“We’re just sort of figuring it out,” Iman, who is a NBA champion and rapper, jokes in the trailer. “The game is changing.”

Yet, sometimes parenthood proves to be too much. Teyana cries, “You don’t even know what mothers are going through. We’re going through so much.”

From glamping to starring in Coming 2 AmericaTeyana has plenty of pinch-me moments. “I was literally standing with Eddie Murphy!” she says with a smile. Teyana and Iman have plenty of outrageous adventures in store, and Teyana even previously teased that family milestone moments will be captured by the reality cameras.

“My baby, Rue, she took her first crawl on camera. And Junie, her first day back to school,” Teyana told Maxim in June 2021. “Usually my lens is on everybody else. It feels good for the lens to be on me and my family so I can look back and know I did a good job as a mom, I did a good job as a director, I did a good job balancing careers, balance your love, things that are important and good.”

Speaking of Teyana and Iman’s oldest daughter Junie, she’s already winning us over with her personality. In fact, it’s safe to say that the 5-year-old is a scene-stealer in the making.

Case in point: Junie is seen sassily saying to Iman, “Don’t try to make my mama kick you out of this house.”

At one point, Junie clearly channels mom Teyana as she confidently declares, “Period!” We couldn’t love it more.

Watch the hilarious teaser trailer above!

Also, if you’re eager to catch We Got Love Teyana & Iman early, tune into the special half hour first look of the series tonight, June 20 at 10 p.m. on E!.

Stuntman Alex Harvill has died after crashing his motorcycle during an attempt to break a Guinness World Record.

According to the Grant County Coroner’s Office in Washington, the 28-year-old “died after crashing his motorcycle while performing a practice jump at the Grant County International Airport” on Thursday, June 17.

“His family has been notified,” the spokesperson told E! News. “Our deepest sympathies go out to Alex’s family, friends and loved ones.”

An autopsy will be conducted on Friday to determine cause and manner of death, the coroner’s office said.

Harvill, who previously held the title for the longest dirt to dirt jump of 297 feet, hoped to break his own record at the Moses Lake Airshow. He planned to jump 351 feet prior to the tragic crash.

The stuntman’s followers first learned of his accident when the event’s Instagram account shared Harvill “was injured during his warm-up before the jump” and subsequently taken to the hospital.

The organizers added, “Our hearts are with Alex and his family, and wish him a speedy recovery. All proceeds from today’s jump will be donated to Alex to contribute to his medical expenses.”

On May 18, Harvill welcomed his second child, a baby boy named Watson Robert Harvill, with wife Jessica Harvill. He shared, “Welcome to the world baby Watson.”

The couple tied the knot in September 2019, with their eldest son Willis present for their nuptials.

“I married my best friend. From chasing dreams to raising a family. Jessica and I have been through it all. She has stuck by my side during my highest of highs and lowest of lows,” he wrote at the time. “I’m so lucky to now call you my wife.”
