Nikki Bella issued an apology on June 28 for past comments made on E!’s Fashion Police around late wrestler Chyna. During a 2013 episode of Fashion Police, Nikki and sister Brie Bella joked about Chyna’s “butch” features. “We don’t know if it’s a man or a woman,” Nikki said while holding up a photo of the fellow WWE star.

The clip resurfaced on Twitter on June 26. Nikki responded with a public apology tweet, saying she wanted to “sincerely apologize” for her insensitive remark.

“I am sorry and embarrassed by my 29 year old self, who offended Chyna and in turn, hurt her family and others,” Nikki wrote. “I wish I could take it back.”

The mother of one also urged for her past actions to be a life lesson to fans: “Please learn from me, it’s not worth hurting someone’s feelings for a meaningless laugh.”

Michael B. Jordan is addressing concerns expressed by Nicki Minaj and other social media users over the name of his rum brand.

On Tuesday, June 22, the Black Panther actor took to his Instagram Story to apologize for calling his new rum brand J’Ouvert after accusations that the name appropriated Caribbean culture.

“I just wanna say on behalf of myself & my partners, our intention was never to offend or hurt a culture(we love & respect) & hoped to celebrate & shine a positive light on,” Michael wrote. “Last few days has been a lot of listening. A lot of learning & engaging in countless community conversations…”

The 34-year-old Creed star went on to explain that the brand will be renamed in light of the outcry.

“We hear you,” he continued. “I hear you & want to be clear that we are in the process of renaming. We sincerely apologize & look forward to introducing a brand we can all be proud of.”

“I’m sure MBJ didn’t intentionally do anything he thought Caribbean ppl would find offensive,” the rapper wrote. “but now that you are aware, change the name & continue to flourish & prosper.”

  • Jeopardy!'s Twitter account posted an apology on June 22 after complaints from viewers about a clue regarding a medical disorder.

Jeopardy! is apologizing following criticism centered on a recent episode.

On Monday, June 21, the venerable quiz show featured a clue about the medical condition called postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS), which affects a person’s blood flow. The following day, the series’ official Twitter account posted a message of apology after complaints regarding how the condition was described.

“Yesterday’s program included a clue about postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS),” the show tweeted. “After hearing from the community, we found we used an outdated and inaccurate term for this disorder, and we apologize.”

The controversial clue, which appeared during an episode guest-hosted by Savannah Guthrie, read, “Postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome is also known as Grinch syndrome because this organ is too small.” The answer was the heart.

After the episode aired, Dysautonomia International—a nonprofit focused on awareness of autonomic nervous system disorders—tweeted that the phrase Grinch syndrome is “outdated” and “misogynistic.”

“Can you imagine Jeopardy making light of cancer or MS patients with a ‘funny’ name for their debilitating health condition? Not acceptable,” the organization posted. “We’d love to see real questions about the autonomic nervous system.”

This led Mrs. Doubtfire actress Mara Wilson to reply, “It’s also just not true! It was based on one doctor’s contentious theory proposed more than ten years ago. There’s no scientific consensus. Disappointed to see @Jeopardy spreading medical misinformation.”

Mara added, “Thinking back to all the EKGs, ECGs, stress tests, and heart monitors I’ve had over the years, all of which have shown my heart to be totally normal, while my autonomic nervous system remains a mess.”

According to the website for Johns Hopkins Medicine, “In most patients with POTS, the structure of the heart itself is normal.”

Henry Cavill‘s girlfriend is apologizing for a resurfaced photo that is raising eyebrows.

Earlier this week, Natalie Viscuso was accused of cultural appropriation after a picture appeared online that showed the former reality star dressed in east African tribal attire and her skin colored from the neck down.

After fans began to criticize Legendary Entertainment’s Vice President, Television and Digital Studios, she decided to shed some light on the photo while offering an apology.

“Firstly, I’d like to say that I’m sorry if this image surfacing has caused any offense. It is a photo from 2008 for a TV show in Namibia,” Natalie told the Daily Mail. “The tribe I was living with painted my skin as part of an initiation ceremony and an acceptance into their culture.”

She continued, “Never in a million years did I think that this would be offensive, in fact, I felt honored that they would initiate me. However, with the lessons that we are all learning in today’s climate, it is important that I recognize that this is potentially hurtful. My deepest and most sincere apologies.”

The photo in question was taken long before Henry and Natalie were dating or even knew each other.

In fact, it wasn’t until April 2021 when the actor made his relationship with Natalie Instagram official. Instead of an over-the-top announcement, the pair chose to pose when they were playing an innocent game of chess.

“This is me looking quietly confident shortly before my beautiful and brilliant love Natalie, destroys me at chess,” Henry captioned the shot. Natalie posted the same picture and added, “Just teaching my dear Henry how to play some chess…or…maybe he let me win?”

Before you speculate that Henry is about to make his romantic life a public affair, it’s not the case. In a recent Instagram, the actor delivered a message to critics while reminding followers that he’s happy and in love.

“Let’s embrace this age of social enlightenment together, and move forward with positivity,” the Justice League star shared. “I am very happy in love, and in life. I’d be enormously grateful if you were happy with me. If you can’t bring yourself to be happy with me, then at the very least try to do yourself proud and be the best version of yourself.”

E! News has reached out to Natalie and has not heard back.
