Kristin Cavallari Praises Ex Jay Cutler as "The Best" in Loving Father's Day Tribute

Kristin Cavallari celebrated Father's Day by sharing a sweet image of ex Jay Cutler spending some quality time with their three children.

For Kristin Cavallari, deciding to compliment ex Jay Cutler on his special day was a slam dunk. 

The 34-year-old Very Cavallari alum took to Instagram on Sunday, June 20 to share a Father’s Day tribute to Jay. She and the 38-year-old former NFL star, who share children Camden, 8, Jaxon, 7, and Saylor, 5, announced their split in April 2020.

“Happy Father’s Day to the best,” she captioned a photo of Jay playing basketball outdoors with their three kids. All three of the children had their backs to the camera. 

The Laguna Beach alum shared the same image to her Instagram Story, this time adding the caption, “Happy Fathers Day to all the dads! Especially this one.” Kristin also drew a heart on the pic. 

The former couple have continued to prove they excel at co-parenting. Earlier this month, the athlete told E! News in an exclusive interview that the couple has remained focused on what’s best for their kids.

“It’s good,” he said about adjusting to co-parenting. “I mean, kids are resilient. With school and all the activities, we’ve done a good job of putting them first.” 

Back then, he wasn’t quite sure how he would be celebrating Father’s Day but shared, “They’re so young. We went to a brunch with Kristin for Mother’s Day. We’ll figure out something fun for them.”

As for the status of their divorce, a source confirmed to E! News last month that it’s still being finalized due to financial issues. 

“Everybody is cooperating to get everything finalized and valued,” the insider shared at the time. “Jay and Kristin are getting along fine, as far as moving along to get this over with.”

Get your martinis ready because the ladies of Sex and the City are back in action.

After much waiting, Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis are reunited for the first table read of And Just Like That, aka Sex and the City‘s revival on HBO Max. The Carrie Bradshaw actress shared a photo of the cast, minus Kim Cattrall, as they came together for the production. 

“Together again. Read through our first episodes. @justlikethatmax Alongside all the fellas and our newest cast members. Like an ice cream sundae,” she captioned the pic.

The snapshot was a source of much excitement for fans, as evident in Andy Cohen‘s comments. The Watch What Happens Live host literally said, “I just pooped my pants.”

Sarah’s post comes after she found herself in front of Carrie Bradshaw’s former home. The 56-year-old actor took a picture of the stoop, writing, “Pure coincidence AND JUST LIKE THAT, we find ourselves on this street called Perry the night before it all begins again. MPK, here we go. And I’m thrilled and terrified.”

Sex and the City Revival: Everything We Know So Far

It seems to be an exciting time for the Girls Just Want to Have Fun actress. This week, SJP began production on Just Like That and sent her twin daughters off for their final day of 6th grade. As she put it, “Sisters, take the battery out of your alarm clock!”

And just last month, she and husband Matthew Broderick watched their eldest child, James Wilkie Broderick, graduate from high school. According to their 18-year-old son’s social media profile, he will be attending Brown University in the fall, which isn’t too far from his home in the Big Apple.

In other words, all the members of the Broderick-Parker family are embarking on new chapters in their lives.

Who doesn’t love a reunion?

Kristin Cavallari left Nashville, Tennessee this past weekend for a quick getaway to Charleston, South Carolina, where she hung out with a few familiar faces. 

On June 6, the Very Cavallari star took to Instagram to post a photo of herself posing in front of Leon’s Oyster Shop with pal Steph Biegel and Southern Charm‘s Austen Kroll and Craig Conover, captioning the snapshot, “Charmed I’m sure.”

For their “Sunday Funday,” the group grabbed a bite to eat and then headed to Craig’s store Sewing Down South. The friends also hit the town Saturday night, stopping by Leva Bonaparte‘s Republic Garden & Lounge. 

And while Kristin and Austen have sparked romance rumors before, the Uncommon James founder once again set the record straight by captioning a photo of the duo with the word “besties.”

Kristin and Austen sent fans into a frenzy after they were spotted hanging out in Charleston last December. However, they later shut down the speculation. 

“No one hooked up with anyone,” she said on Craig and Austen’s podcast Pillows and Beer. “Nothing ever happened. We had a really good time.”

“I’m focusing on me and taking care of my babes,” she told E! News’ Daily Pop in May, referencing the three children she shares with Jay. “That’s it.”
